. the stats FULL NAME juniper lee scott AGE & DOB twenty-five, january first HOMETOWN chantilly, virginia CURRENT LOCATION los angeles ETHNICITY 1/4 african american, 3/4 american (dutch & german roots) LANGUAGE english SEXUAL ORIENTATION straight HAIR COLOR dark brown EYE COLOR dark brown HEIGHT 5'7" WEIGHT 120 DISTINGUISHING FEATURES Monroe birthmark, slender legs, stunning smile | deeper perspective STRENGTHS ORGANIZED - June started out in her career as a secretary, so she knows how to take care of files and organize everything in any order possible. When things are out of place, she feels completely disoriented. Though she is not an obsessive-compulsive person, her ability to put anything in order has proved a strength in a career where she is responsible for alphabetizing others' records. She is also able to take good care of herself at home (when she isn't kept too busy). Her space is always kept neat. STRONG - Both physically and emotionally, June has proved to be quite a force on her own. She does well in kick-boxing and Pilates in the gym, but she is also extremely powerful in terms of emotions. When she is knocked down, she gets up and wipes the dust off. She allows nothing to deter her from getting exactly what she wants, even when she should be worried about how upset she is. Ever since her fiancee, Dylan, left her, she learned not to trust anyone and not to let anyone trust her. She chooses to stand on her own and do what it takes in her own interest. Her strength and commitment stand in the way of solid relationships, but she sees it as a necessary sacrifice. ADAPTIVE - June can see all things from another perspective, which makes her a troubleshooter leader. She can take any situation and make it a fixable one. Instead of allowing others to see things in a completely negative light, she finds a way around it. Because she was a military brat, she had to get used to making new friends when her old ones had to move away. She had to learn how to deal with her father's rank changes and how often he left her side. Even if she was able to travel often with him, she had a wavering relationship with everyone around her, including her own dad. Her international scope, however, has greatly benefited her. She knows how to eat weird food and try new, insane things. OPEN-MINDED - June is not one open to outright judgments. If she had more compassion, she would be able to help people. She simply allows people to make their own social decisions and doesn't make judgments where she doesn't need to. She believes in social liberty and trying anything new when possible. She doesn't want to live a mundane life with numerous restrictions, so she makes sure that she isn't boring herself to death by being close-minded, overly religious, or restricted by others. NATURAL LEADER - June was the head cheerleader at her high school in New Zealand. As an American-born young woman, it was hard to get people to listen, but she knew how to: she was a natural leader. She knew exactly what she was doing and her adaptive personality allowed her to get to know most people from different scopes. Though she didn't trust many people from the beginning, she could go on without judging them for their personal shortcomings. Instead, she cultivated their strengths and allowed hers to complement theirs. Since her experience as a cheerleader, she has grown to be an incredible leader in the industry. WEAKNESSES DISLOYAL - June has an issue with keeping friends, and that's because she doesn't care to keep close ties. If she has to tell a person's secret to get what/who she wants, she'll do it without questioning it. She doesn't care for close bonds, though she feels like having one or two is important. She also doesn't feel the need to commit to one project at a time and has almost no nationalism in terms of her career. Though she is a patriotic individual, her international scope makes her feel as if there is an element in all countries to appreciate instead of remaining loyal to one idea or government. NONCOMMITTAL - June, as a college drop-out, was not one for being part of the system. She hates being depended on by bigger foundations and it took her quite some time to realize that a stable job requires commitment to some extent. Her view on it remains the same, though she is now more skilled at pretending she likes working for the same person for a consistent period of time: dating is good. She doesn't believe in committed relationships, as she lost the one and only shot she ever had at true love. SPOILED - June got her way by moving through her father's connections. In fact, her second shot at the industry was made through her boyfriend's connections. Because of this, June has been unable to grasp the fact that her successes have not been entirely her own. She is self-entitled and spoiled. She was always babied by her militaristic father who saw her as the perfect baby girl. Instead of working for all that she has, June thinks she is entitled to most of it. She usually gets her way because of looks. When she doesn't, she creates a scene. THREATENING - Most people don't approach people who look like Juniper. Those who do automatically regret it. During first impressions, she chooses to take the scary route. She makes people listen to her by being rude about it. When she earns a person's attention, she decides to be a bit more amiable. Her threatening attitude deters most future friends and turns off future potential love interests. Her attitude toward others protects her from ever having to trust people. SELFISH - June doesn't believe in helping others because she thinks people are inherently bad. Her misanthropic outlook has made her feel like her only responsiblity is to make herself happy. She doesn't keep in touch very well with her parents, even when both of them were extremely supportive -- both financially and emotionally. She makes decisions based on her self-interest and doesn't share much of her success or happiness with others. SKILLS
EXPERIENCE Juniper Lee Scott was born on the first of January into a family of four; her father was working to be an officer in the military while her mulatto mother was an army wife. June had two older brothers and depended on them to raise her from birth. She lived in Chantilly until she was two years old, then her father was asked to move to a New Zealand base. June grew up in this culture and remained in there for her childhood and teenage years. When her father was then moved to Japan, she remained with her mother in New Zealand until she grew to be an adult. Her mother didn't want to pull her out of cheerleading and schooling in a stable environment. June's older brothers, Jeremy and Jordan, were given the opportunity to graduate from high school after a stable life, so it was only fair that June was given the same opportunity. Once she decided on going to college in Europe, her mother let her go and moved to Japan with her husband. All three of the Scott children spread out: Jeremy went to school in Australia while Jordan followed his father's footsteps and enrolled in the military as a Navy seal. After attending the University of Paris for two years, June lost her half scholarship and applied for schooling in California instead. She was able to make it into UCLA, but because of her lack of discipline, she dropped out before she could complete her degree in accounting. Instead, she scored an internship with a local talent agency and moved from there. With connections on her father's part, she was able to get a job as a stunt coordinator on a few indie films before tying down a stable job as a secretary at Creative Artists Agency. At twenty-two, she was able to make an impression on her bosses through less admirable means, notably by seducing most of the older men whom she worked for. Before she was able to climb the rope in CAA, she was caught in the act and kicked out onto the street. For months, she lived on her own, taught yoga at a small college gym, and waited tables at Hooters, which was where she met her future fiancee. Dylan worked in science, but he had family in the United Talent Agency and was able to make connections through that. She got a job on the lower level and is able to work as a freelance manager; she advises her actors and conducts general publicism through UTA. On the side, she is a stunt coordinator and works on a television show set. She cleaned up her act and gained the trust of UTA's employees, but Dylan ended up leaving her before their wedding day because he reconnected with a high school sweetheart. Since then, June has been trying to cope through the wrong means. When she's not out, however, she is working hard to make her reputation known in the industry. As a young and very inexperienced woman, most people don't take her word for what she knows about film. She mostly deals with finances and gives advice on what projects are most promising for her clients. Her athleticism has given her a great job as a stunt coordinator as well, but once again, it has been difficult in the past three years to make herself known. |
