She does not believe there is anything she can't achieve. She believes that if there is something to dream, it's best if you dream big. She doesn't like staying in one place for too long. She believes that once you reach one goal, you should aim twice as high for the next goal. Friendly and Outgoing: Miranda was always great with making friends. Honest She wants to be known in the industry as a very honest worker. She hopes that directors and producers will hear about her being honest and dependable, and want to hire her. WEAKNESSES Naive As a newcomer to the industry,she expects everything to be handed easily to her. She thinks that she can trust anyone that promises her anything, because she's an honest person. She is not fully aware of what happens behind closed doors, and the effect it might have or her. Stubborn She can be very strong willed at times. She won't listen to advice unless it's what she wants to hear. Sometimes she's "my way or no way" but she knows when to use this and when to sit and listen. (as far as work and acting go. She refuses to listen to her mother.) Impatient When there is something she wants, and she knows she has to wait to get it, she ends up becoming very unhappy. Like for instance, her breakthrough role. She wants to go to one audition, and get the role and become a star. Even though she's hard working, she doesn't want to wait to become recognized. Blunt Sometimes she doesn't know what to say. She might feel a certain way and words will just escape her mouth. By time she realizes what she has said, damage has already been done. Emotional Her emotions get the best of her sometimes. If she feels rejected, she'll show it because she doesn't know how to hide what she's feeling. SKILLS TALENTS:: Miranda can act fairly well, due to her "Acting Academy" lessons she reciceved when she was a small child.(From the age of 10 to about the age of 17) Miranda is also a talented dancer, her strength is mostly in jazz and ballet. When challenged she can sing her behind off, hitting notes that others may not be able to. She practiced hard on her British and french accents, hoping one day they can be the deciding factor on if she gets a role or not. Miranda has gone through a ton of lessons in hopes that they will get her that extra step closer to achieving her dreams of becoming a world known actress. INTERESTS:: Miranda's interests are mostly dancing and acting, cooking meals, reading books on different acting techniques, she loves to shop for new clothes, read tabloids to stay up-to-date on all her favorite actors and actresses, and lastly she likes to jog (to keep her body in shape). Miranda had been training all her life to become an actress. Her mother doesn't agree with her wanting to become an actress, since her mother is well known and knows the downside of being in the spotlight she doesn't want Miranda going through the same things. Her mother agreed to lessons due to the smooth talkings of Miranda's father. Miranda has been interesting in acting for a long time, hoping on day to bring the Broadway musical RENT back to stage so she can have a starring role.She paved her way by auditioning for multiple commercials and modeling ads. She has two or three, but her real talent lies in acting. |

Another board I'm on (Corona Heights) RP SAMPLE This example is from a socialite character I have ^_^ Ivy was not the most outgoing person. Well at least not for her social class. People usually classified people of her status as rich, outgoing, beautiful, party people. The type of people that ached to be on the cover of some type of tabloid. Ivy was the complete opposite of most of those things. She was beautiful and rich, but she hated parties and she definitely hated the people that attended those parties. She never liked the idea of an all black cocktail party, or a beach bash near the shore. She much rather preferred to stay at home and eat a turkey and cheese sandwich. Too bad for Ivy, that her mother didn't accept this. The Stevens family took great pride in their outward appearance. And that included who they were around, 90% of the time. Ivy's mother wanted her around rich,beautiful, outgoing, party people. No matter how much Ivy fought it, her mother found a way to put her around these people. Ivy, being the soft spoken sweetheart she was, never thought to say "no". She nodded politely, and went on these outings with her forced friends. Ivy waited inside the cafe for her friend. Ivy and Estelle were actually on good terms provided the circumstances of their meeting, which was through Ivy's mother. Ivy liked Estelle for what it was worth, and didn't mind being seen around town with her. She thought that maybe Estelle didn't mind her company either, since she agreed to meet up. Ivy sat at the cafe table, her designer bag sitting comfortably in her lap. She sipped on her lemon water that she bought a little while ago. Ivy was going to stick to a healthy diet since she was getting a personal trainer. She wanted to go into the workouts completely refreshed and cleansed. She didn't want (...Asher? Yes, Asher was his name.) to think all she ate was fast foods. She was looking forward to these workouts. The man was well built and she thought he happened to be quite the attractive man. He trained her before, when Ivy was in college, but he got fired. Ivy still felt responsible for her mother's odd behavior. He mother had no tolerance for the "help". And that was what he was considered to her family at that time. Ivy didn't care now, and neither would her mother. This guy was a well known trainer now, and she didn't want to leave a bad impression. So, she continued to drink on her lemon water. That could use a little more lemon. She wasn't sure if this cafe had table service, but people know who Ivy Stevens is. So, her table had all the service she needed. She held up her hand and a worker in the cafe rushed over. "Hello, can I have a refill of water, and a little more lemon this time please? Her low volume, but sweet voice said to the woman that rushed over. The woman nodded and went off to get her water. Ivy sat and wondered what time Estelle would walk in. Ivy didn't want to rush her or anything, but she did have a boutique to run. | |
