If there was anyone who responded well to change or new experiences, it would be this girl. When she was young, she had to adapt to being raised by a father who was barely around after her mother died. Then, she had to adapt to moving, because her father was a CEO and had to move for a position in France. It wasn't easy, but moving to a whole new country, she had to adapt to their culture and learn their language. However, she's also good at adapting to what's thrown at her when it comes to acting. Any type of character, you give it to her, she'll be that person. Even if it's out of her usual comfort zone, she can do it, no questions asked. QUICK LEARNER. Along with being adaptive, Evie is a quick learner. This showed mostly when she moved to France and had to pick up their language. It didn't take very long for her to learn it and soon she was having conversations with the people around her. Also, she's good at taking on her character's role quickly or learning something new for a role. At a young age she learned how to play the piano, and also knows a bit of guitar, along with a few different types of dance. All were from lessons her father put her in to make sure she had some well rounded background. Not that she didn't enjoy them, but it didn't take long for her to become somewhat bored because she picked them up so fast. DETERMINED. Once Evie sets her mind on something, she will do anything to get it. All of her life she has learned how to fight to get what she wants and now, that's exactly what she does. Whether it's a role, or an item, or even a person, once she sets her mind on something she goes after it and it takes a lot to get her to back down. OUTGOING. Evelyn Benson is not shy at all. It doesn't matter who you are, she has no problems going up to someone and talking to them, even if they're a complete stranger. Even with boys she's confident enough to talk and flirt. It's just something that doesn't phase her at all. She's completely comfortable with who she is and her body. INDEPENDENT. Ever since she was young, Evelyn was not the type to depend on someone else. When her mother died at age eight, she had to learn to take care of herself because her father was hardly ever around. So, she learned how to cook and clean and do everything she needed to get herself where she needed to be and get what she needed to survive. Of course, at that age money was supplied to her but in terms of taking care of herself, that was all her doing. Now, she is the same way. She lives alone with a dog in an apartment and she takes care of herself. Not to mention, she doesn't like when people try to help her. It makes her feel helpless, so she tells them she doesn't want or need their help. WEAKNESSES SHORT-TEMPERED. Unfortunately, Evelyn has a very short temper. Little things set her off fairly quickly and she will do one of two things in the beginning. Either she'll give you the cold shoulder and just stop talking to you, or she'll give you an earful. And let me tell you, it's not very nice words. Now, the worst part about Evie's temper is in more severe cases, she can become somewhat violent. She'll throw things or even throw slaps or punches. However, she doesn't tend to hit that stage very often. The reason behind her violent nature is her father. After her mother died, he became angry and sometimes took it out on her through physical abuse. Before she left home, she had a moment where she hit her breaking point and she fought back, punching him in the face and breaking his nose. BLUNT. Point blank, Evie has no probably telling it like it is. If she doesn't like you, she will not act fake. She will tell you to your face that she doesn't care for you. At the same time, if she thinks you're sexy, she'll tell you that as well. Most wouldn't suspect her to be the most honest type, but honestly, she believes that you should be honest to someone even if it hurts their feelings, so that's what she lives by. Even if it makes you cry, she will tell you what she thinks to your face. Therefore, she easily makes enemies and sometimes gets herself in trouble. JUDGMENTAL. Don't judge a book by a it's cover. Ha! Evie doesn't even know what that means. She is judgmental and doesn't care either. If she doesn't feel like you're worth her time, she won't pay you mind, no matter how nice you are. If she doesn't like you, she won't deal with you, after she tells you to your face that she doesn't care for you. And to be honest, and completely cruel, if she thinks your ugly, she probably wouldn't be your friend. OCD. Yes, it's true, Evelyn has OCD, but only slightly. She is super organizational and everything has to be in order or she'll flip. She can't stand any type of mess and everything that can be, has to be sorted by abc order. Pictures also have to be straight and things need to be centered correctly. Even if she's in someone else's home, if there is something out of place, she will fix it without permission. THUNDER STORMS. Childish, right? Well, it was a childhood fear of hers, but it has become a phobia that she hasn't been able to get over. If she is consciously aware that there is a thunder storm taking place, she will shake and in most cases, cry. She just freezes up and there's nothing that can be done about it, except for one thing. When she was little, her mother and her best friend were the only two that could calm her. Now, it's quite impossible to calm her seeing as her mother is dead and her best friend hasn't been around her since she was eight. So, she's mostly on her own if it were to happen. Especially since she lives alone. Well, she lives with a dog, but her dog is afraid too. That doesn't help much. SKILLS Ever since she was little, her parents wanted her to have a rounded background, meaning they wanted her to find some talents and get out and do things. So, her father signed her up for dance and piano lessons around the age of four. When it came to dance, she did: ballet, lyrical, jazz, and hip-hop. However, hip-hop was a choice of her own because she found it more exciting than the others. Once she moved to France with her parents, she still continued lessons. Except something else was added on. She had to learn French, making Evelyn bilingual. She's also really good at learning accents too. That she picked up as a joke. Toward the end of middle school, she decided that she was really into acting and wanted to pursue that as a career. So, during her start of high school, she was in a few plays here and there and she got into public theatre outside of school as well. This was around the time where she picked up guitar because she wanted to learn a new instrument on her own and she was already pretty good on the piano. Sadly, Evelyn never finished high school because at age fifteen a fight between her and her father made her decide to run away. Not that he would notice too much because he was barely around. However, when he was, he wasn't very nice because of his anger issues he picked up after her mother died. After taking enough money to get her by for a while, she found herself back in the U.S. where she tried to throw herself into the acting business to help herself. It worked because that same year she got her first gig on a t.v. series called The O.C. and it only continued after that. Throughout the beginning of her career, she was based in LA. Now, after the completion of the 2012 movie Tiger Eyes, she moved herself back to New York, where she was born, to try to continue her career there. Also during the beginning of her acting career, she worked to get her GED so she could go to college if anything ever happened to her career now. EXPERIENCE

Elaina was not the type to need punishment as she grew up. The disappointment from her parents was punishment enough to her. Many times she had cried only because she knew they felt that way. That's why she tried her best to be perfect for them and do what they would want of her. | |
