He would do anything for his friends & family without asking any questions be it something good or bad. He'd stand by them even if they were in the wrong to the end. Brady's loyalty has sometimes got him in trouble, in the past in trouble with the law. RESOURCEFUL Growing up in a poor part of LA Brady's managed to become highly resourceful using everything & anything to his advantage. Without many chances while growing up Brady would use anything available to turn a quick buck. Quick thinking in tricky situation & capable of coming up with quick solutions, Brady was renowned around the back streets & gained a nickname "resourceful bugger" EASY GOING Brady's life has been a mixture of events which all in turn moulded him into the man he is today. He's learnt not to take many things seriously. Being overly serious & worrying about things never got him anywhere so instead taking a cool & calm approach to everyday life rather than stressing over small & pointless matters Brady has managed to keep his sense of humour through the toughest & darkest times in his life. CONFIDENT Although Brady's easy going he is confident within himself & his abilities. Never second guessing himself & standing firm to his beleifs & his morals, even though sometimes he can be lead astray by others & as previously mentioned gets into trouble. But since his breakout from being nothin more than a street urchin Brady's confidence has been boosted. ROMANTIC Brady's a old fashioned romantic. although he's had his share of girlfriends both serious & just fun in the past & has been hurt numerous times for opening his heart a little too soon. Brady loves women , respects them & treats each one in his company like a queen. He's still not found the perfect woman for him & although he enjoys the careless fancy free lifestyle of a bachelor he secretly wishes to settle down. WEAKNESSES ADDICTION As a former drug & alcohol addict Brady is almost always tempted on a daily basis. he tends to relapse from time to time without any explination as to why. First he was addicted to drugs, once he quit the drugs he swapped one thing for another & started drinking heavily. After drinking he moved on to being obsessed with money & making more of it. He has a addiction problem be it the drugs or alcohol or small things. He's a littl OCD at times QUIET Brady's not the most sociable guy which sometimes causes problems with the people he manages, his lack of social skills sometimes mean others talk for him & his messages sometimes are not broadcasted clearly, which in some cases could cause problems. Brady dislikes social events which also is a problem especially in his line of work, it is why he thrusts those he manages into the spotlight & tries shies away from it himself. QUICK TEMPERED Brady likes things done his way & properly, he can lose his temper very quickly if people question him over his methods. But as quickly as he gets angry he can calm down equally as quick. his temper has sometimes got him into plenty of trouble & fights but the older he gets the more level headed he has become. Brady does lash out from time to time. DARK PAST Brady's past is one of his biggest weaknesses. The shady people that brady use to deal with threaten to come out of the woodwork at anytime. It is one of Brady's biggest fears having his past discovered & his career ruined. it's like a dark cloud hanging over him making him a little bit paranoid from time to time. There are some questionable chapters in his life that he tries desperatly to hide. WOMEN Women are also one of Brady's biggest weaknesses. he falls too fast & gets himself into situations with women who are no good for him. After numerous love affairs, failed engagements & 2 children later Brady has not learned from his mistakes when it comes to women. but all he needs is a strong woman to guide him & sort out his inhability to say no to a pretty gal. He had not felt happy or hopeful in the longest time. Nights spent camping out beneath the foreign stars had taken their toll on Brady. His once youthful face was scarred & his eyes no longer held the heroic sparkle they once had. Brady was unshaven and for the most part dirty & thin from his tour of the Helmand's province. the heat and the dust had often caused brady distress and more than once he had wished for release. be it by the bullet of the enemy or by the grace of god Brady had prayed night after night to be released from the prison that he had signed up for. The pounding rain that struck the ground reminded Brady of the hale of bullets that would often fall over his regiment and the very same fear of death struck his heart each time he heard a loud boom. He was a broken man who had been forced to run away from the vows that he had taken. brady was not proud of what he had done. He had left his brothers in battle , his second family. In an act of desperation Brady had fled the front line and escaped to a quiet and secluded part of Illinois. Brady knew that he would only be replacing one kind of hell for another. Brady's body shook from the cold. He had arrived from Iraq a few days before christmas & instantly he had taken to drinking. The alcohol had blocked out a lot of the guilt that threatened to eat away at him. His guilt knew no bounds & the full consequence of what he had done would be felt more personally than any could imagine. Kahlen's red '69 camaro pulled up beside the park and Brady could do nothing but run towards it. He identified it as the same car she drove back home. the home that he had seen in his dreams. of simple autumn days spent among the orange , green , brown and yellow leaves. The simplicity of a life that had once been. brady could do nothing but climb into the car & instantly take hold of his wife tightly. he could recall the day he had asked her to marry him. among the fallen leaves beneath the oldest and most scared tree of their hometown. brady had knelt down & taken hold of her delicate hand vowing from that day to cherish , honor and protect her until death parted them. brady had often though his own marriage vows would not be fulfilled. deep in the night as the stars shone down on helmand in his bunk alongside his brothers in arms brady had remained awake writing letters to her. the only form of comfort in an otherwise cold & harsh surrounding. brady had wanted to serve his country since the towers fell in new york. since the threat of terrorists had become a focal point of everybody's conversations. but he had been young but as soon as he had been old enough to enlist brady had done that. vowing to avenge the deaths of the innocent & the young. Brady had married Kahlen and within two months had been shipped out to the most dangerous part of the world. a short lived fairytale for a heroic prince charming. The car came to a halt and Brady almost jumped at the sudden action. His eyes darted towards his wife "here we are...home" Brady slowly climbed out of the car & looked at the apartment building that Kahlen had set up residence. He smiled and followed her inside without a word. He had never wanted fine things in life. Brady would have settled for a small cottage in their hometown where they could raise a small family. But from what Brady had seen of Chester bay it seemed like a good second option. "lemme go find you a towel so you can dry off..." Brady was shaken from his daze & reached out to grab hold of his wife's arm. He pulled her back and into his strong embrace as he said "not yet , don't go just yet" Brady cupped Kahlen's face in his hands & gazed deep into the eyes that he had fallen in love with. He smiled weakly and reached down to place a tender kiss on her lips. Brady pulled back & said "i've been thousands of miles away from you. I don't think I can handle being another room away from you right now" | |
