Bianca was home alone, just as she had been these days. She was sitting back on her bed with Patches, the cat her cousin left behind and Toby, her Yorkie, as they all watched TV together. When the doorbell rang downstairs, she was surprised, unable to even guess who it could’ve been. She wasn’t expecting anyone…that could only mean one thing. Richard was here to surprise her. She grinned to herself and pulled Toby off of her lap and stood up in her short shorts and skimpy cami. On her way down, she fixed her bed hair a little, putting a smile on her face. It was the night before her birthday, so somehow she just expected he was here with some sort of present. When the door was finally opened, however, every thought she had of finding out a perfect way to thank him for this mysterious gift was gone. So was her smile. ”Oh…” B was an extremely welcoming person. She always had been. Never had she ever removed a smile upon seeing someone at her door until now.

Bianca had been upset at her for at least a week now, but it felt like much, much longer. Schuyler hadn't known what it was about, at first, and that had frustrated her more than anything. But then, the other day, she'd said something about telling the truth, and how he'd been twice her age... and then it hit her. This was about Richard. Of course. That man had ruined so much for her, why not her relationship with one of her few best friends? But she didn't know exactly what he'd told Bianca, or what the girl believed. So it had been time to find out. She looked at her friend, who seemed to be dressed for someone other than her. Probably Richard. The speed at which her smile deteriorated broke Schuyler's heart more than she would care to admit. "I'm ready to tell the truth." The whole truth. Whether Bianca could handle it or not. "Please. Can we talk?"

Seeing Schuyler in front of her, Bianca realized she didn’t even care anymore. At least not about the fact that Richard and one of her best friends slept together. It was more the fact that Sky would keep something like this, even though it ultimately shouldn’t have mattered. Bianca would have liked to know. Not knowing and then finding out really got to her. ”Tell me the truth after I already know it?” No. Bianca didn’t want to hear it. And if there was more, she definitely didn’t want to hear that. The girl in front of her looked hurt. It hurt Bianca too because she was so used to putting a smile on this girl’s face when she was done. She was always there for Sky, just like she was with all her friends. Not being able to hug her was hard, but she kept her face expressionless. ”What’s there to talk about, Schuyler?” It would probably be the first time B called the girl by her real name.

Schuyler. She'd never heard that come out of Bianca's mouth before, she didn't think. And she didn't want to hear it now. But she had. "I don't know which truth you heard. Mine or his?" She shook her head sadly. This was the last conversation she had ever wanted to have. After the Richard thing, she hadn't told anyone, really. Not even Bianca. She'd wanted to, but she kept quiet. But she couldn't do this anymore. Not with B. Not when it was costing her so much. "I don't want to say it out here. I want only you to hear this." She was worried how Bianca would react. She was tired of fighting, though.

”Mine or his,” Instead of getting more pissed, Bianca softened up at the words, ”There’s a difference?” She asked softly, studying the look on Sky’s face. This girl was almost always drinking and was seen—and helped—by B during her hangovers, but B couldn’t remember the last time she looked this awful. Well, no. Sky was stunning, there was no doubt about that, but there was some sort of a worry in her eyes. As if something horrible happened. B couldn’t disagree. Something horrible did happen. ”Oh. Yeah, sure.” She backed away, taking the door with her, opening it wide enough for her to enter. Bianca figured Sky could let herself in, so she just walked away from the door and headed to the kitchen.

She nodded as her best friend asked about the difference between the two stories. Sky wasn't exactly sure what the difference was, but she knew there would be one. She just had to figure out what he had told her, exactly. She followed B into the kitchen, leaning back against the counter. She needed a drink. But she couldn't have one, ever again as far as Cooper was concerned. But she could do it. Sometimes it was just harder than others. Taking a deep breath, she looked up at the girl that had let her into her home. She wasn't sure if she deserved to be here, really. She should have just been honest. "Tell me what you know already, so I don't repeat stuff for you."
