He could see her obvious amount of talent and was so proud to see that she had learned so much in such a short time. Most people who were as young as she was didn't contain as much knowledge about acting. He felt so pleased with her performance and bragged on her as much as he could without seeming like he had favorites. The two worked well on set. He had to admit that the first few days were difficult; Samson was a bossy person, so telling her what to do felt foreign because he had to be a bit more aggressive than she was used to, but they hadn't argued about it at all. He felt like they could talk about it if they needed to, but he figured she was mature enough to allow him to do his job. He appreciated everything about working with Tabitha, especially while he had something familiar close to him. He definitely got to see Siana as well, so he felt like he was dually blessed with all that he needed to make the production one made with love.

The conflict on the set revolved around Danny Crawford and his temper issues. Apparently, it actually had nothing to do with anger, but Samson was keeping an eye on the kid. He had been absolutely furious, but speaking with Danny had helped a bit. It was clear that some of what happened had to do with Jaiden, if not the whole situation. He was glad that he could talk to Danny, but the guy had forgotten to meet with Samson, so the guy had to confront the kid in his own trailer. Of course, being a director came with such responsibilities, and he expected no more from the cast. He had expected almost no issues because it was Jaiden's production, though, and Danny Crawford had a nearly spotless reputation. Lately, Samson had been hearing more negatives about him, so it worried him. He wasn't the only one -- Tabitha had been running herself into the ground, but Samson allowed her to make her decisions with little guidance. She would come to him with words of remorse when she needed to. She was young, and her mistakes were her own.

The two walked into a sandwich shop together. Samson held the door open by habit, smiling when she thanked him. The two stood in line as they discussed the recent behaviors on set and those who they thought were the most talented. "Do y'all know what you want?" the woman at the register asked. "Give us a moment," he smiled. He was hoping that no one would recognize Tabitha, but the truth was that her career was soaring too highly for others to forget that face. "What do you want, love?" he asked her with a smile. being on set with samson was pretty amazing. she was trying her best not to give him a hard time, making sure she showed up on time even if she had a hangover. tabby figured that he would have to treat her like he did everyone else, she hadn't expected anything less from him. sure, it took a little time to get use to - him not being his usual soft and sweet self. she had finally got the chance to experience the director side of him and she was pretty impressed with the way he worked. the cast and crew were pretty sweet, she got along with everyone but she mainly spent her time in her room alone with a bottle of alcohol. things in her personal life weren't really going well and she was hoping that if she continued to drink away the pain then maybe she'd wake up one day and everything would be fixed. her relationship with hunter wasn't what it use to be and insteade of trying to fix it, she shoved it out of her mind and acted as if nothing was wrong. people would ask her how he was and she wouldn't have the slightest clue which probably gave off the the impression that she didn't care but she did. tabs was surprised that sam hadn't asked her about it but luckily, danny had taken a majority of the attention - so she had a little leeway to do what she pleased.

she tugged on the strings of her shirt as she walked with sam to the sandwich shop for lunch. they had been so busy with work that they hadn't really had time to hang out with one another, so when the opportunity came up - they both jumped on it eagerly. when he opened the door for her, she beamed up at him and stepped inside whilst removing her glasses. the girl tilted her head up and looked at the menu, not really focusing on the cashier or anyone else for that matter. tabby had finally gotten use to the stares and whispers from her surroundings, she'd often smile at them but as of late she just ignored them. "can i just get a panini please, with an ice tea." she grinned, before looking over at sam as he ordered. tabby leaned against the counter, humming a little tune while she waited for their food. "how've you been anyway?" she asked sam as she sat up and grasped her food and drink and made her way to a nearby table. "thanks by the way, next time it's on me because we need to do this more often. it's been forever since i got to spend time with you.." she smiled, taking a quick drink of her tea before she started work on her sandwich.

"I'll have a veggie wrap... Sure, a spinach wrap is perfect. Thanks," he smiled at the cashier. He loved that the shop was a quaint, cozy environment. "Iced tea for me as well," he nodded as he pulled out his wallet. He tried to pay for Tabitha whenever she wasn't feeling too indignant about it. She liked to pay him back at times, but he was glad to be the gentleman and pay for any lady who was out with him, even if it wasn't a date and something as innocent as a get-together between two great friends. He followed her with their items and took a seat. "I've been great," he nodded, taking a sip of his iced tea. He couldn't complain too much; things were fine with Siana. After what happened between her and Delilah, he had been hesitant to discuss all of it, but it had blown over. He didn't realize that Tabitha didn't know too much about it. Work was consuming his personal life and the drama that Delilah wrought upon it. "Delilah has been... stirring up trouble... as always," he added before he took a bite out of his wrap. He leaned back, savoring the taste and chewing slowly.

"And how are you, Tabitha?" he asked casually. He didn't expect her to vent to him. Tabitha knew when to discuss her issues, and all of it came out when she chose to share. Prying and questioning her would be futile, so the man settled with her way. He wasn't stupid; he saw that she was tired and hungover on most days. He didn't think it would be right to fire her because of it; he had mercy on people with personal issues and tried to stay out of it as long as the actors were getting their work done. Granted, being a director was great, but there were so many issues that revolved around the actors that had to fall in his lap. It was never easy to deal with the inner relations, but Samson loved his job no matter what. Even more than that, he loved taking care of Tabitha and being someone who she never got to have as a younger woman. Her father was never really there for her when she needed him, and Samson wanted to be there to fill in some of that pain. He was no replacement, but it was better than nothing.

"I hadn't realized that it has been so long." He realized that the two had a lot of catching up to do after being apart for so long. It made him wonder how so much time could slip by. He felt like he had neglected her, and he wondered how she would be now if she had opened up to someone who was close in proximity. He honestly liked Hunter for being so virtuous and good to her, but something about their relationship seemed to have gone wrong. He smiled at her as he took another bite and a sip of his iced tea, reading the advertisements plastered on the glass windows. The small sidewalk beside the shop wasn't busy at all; he felt like they had a great deal of privacy with only three other consumers in the shop with them. she started off smiling at him, happy to know that he had been great but when he mentioned delilah it slowly began to fade away. tabby never really cared about her from the jump but to know that she was now stirring up trouble..it irked her nonetheless. "what do you mean? what's she been doing?" she asked with a frown. the girl made no effort to hide her distaste for the older woman, well, she actually had no problem with showing her distaste for anyone. just because she was older, it didn't mean shit to her. if delilah was messing with her friends or family then she'd definitely get the chance to feel the girl's rage. "do i need to...go see her? cause you know i will, i have no problem with doing that." she shrugged, taking another bite of her sandwich. tabby glanced up from her sandwich, her chewing slowed down as she tried to think of what to say. "eh.." she shrugged, placing her sandwich down on the table.

"everything's great, my relationship is a bit....off but..it's whatever." she said, shrugging once again. the first chance she got, tabby signed up for a movie and high-tailed it chicago. it all started when he caught her in a lie about dale coming over to the house. the kid came over to just hang out and spend time with her and to avoid any conflict tabby's natural thought was to just lie about. what she didn't know was that hunter had seen dale outside of their place, so she was doomed before she was even confronted. it was just a fucked up situation. the girl hated confronting personal issues like that and wished that they could just magically fix themselves. "dale came over one day to spend time with me because you know..we had become really close, he was like my best friend in miami and in..yeah, anyway, he came over and we hung out. that was it." she paused, taking a drink of iced tea. "so hunter comes home and he asks me what i did that day and to avoid confrontation..i lied. he got pissed at me and i feel like i didn't do anything wrong - that i was helping him out.."

she still didn't feel like she did anything worng. hunter said he felt insecure about dale and what not, so why would she even bring up the fact that she had spent time alone with him. she felt as if he didn't trust her, even if he said that he did and that he just didn't trust dale. tabby knew who she was in a relationship with and she wouldn't dare cheat on him because she didn't believe in cheating. if you wanted to sleep around then stay single, no point in hurting someone you supposedly cared about. "yes it is, but you've been busy and so have i..so i'll let it slide." she grinned.

He sighed, biting his lip a bit before speaking. "Delilah came to Siana's house," he said, wondering if Tabitha was going to be angry about it. "I mean, I don't know why. And... I confronted her about it, so you don't have to do that," he said sheepishly. Most people who knew about Delilah and Samson's dynamic worried that the two would get back together. They were no longer any good for each other, but some feelings still lingered, as confusing as they could be. Samson knew that they wouldn't be together again, but he still loved Delilah. He always would. He didn't know what else to say about her. She had evil inside of her, but in their marriage he had seen such beautiful pieces of her soul that he couldn't forget. He was merciful and weak to her, even if he was falling in love with Siana. He couldn't say he was in love just yet, but the day would come when Siana would be his bride.

Sam listened patiently as Tabitha began to open up about her recent troubles. Hearing about Dale wasn't what Sam expected, but it was Tabitha's life, so he didn't judge or speak up until she was done with her statement. Samson didn't think it was right to lie. "If nothing happened, I'm sure he wouldn't have been angry," he told her honestly, giving her a crooked smile. Hunter knew how to treat a woman; anyone was aware of that fact. Tabitha was hard to deal with at times as well, but she had daddy issues that filled her head with less-than-rational solutions to tough problems. She had a hard time opening up to people, and Samson understood that. "Is he still angry with you?" Samson questioned, turning his head to the right and taking a small bite of his wrap again. It seemed like fights between the two couldn't last long, but Samson didn't know what they were like together. They seemed like a whirlwind romance, to say the least, and they were very young.

Samson knew that Tabitha would never cheat, so he wasn't suspicious about Dale. Tabitha could be rather unpredictable, but her rule about cheating was one that she stood by. "Busy, sure," he nodded, chuckling. "I'm sorry, though," he said seriously. "I didn't know this was occurring with Hunter. And you've looked so tired," he told her honestly. He smiled again, brightening up a bit. "I've been so caught up in my new relationship and my work that I forgot about my favorite little person," he winked, ruffling her hair a bit before taking another sip of iced tea. her frown deepened as sam explained to her what had transpired between siana and delilah. she went to her house? what the hell was this woman's problem? when he said he didn't know why she would do that, tabby just rolled her eyes. it was obvious what her goal was from the start, the moment she saw samson actually happy with another woman she flipped. even though she was the one to want to end things, seeing him happy struck something within her and she called herself wanting him back. bullshit. "and what did you tell her?" she asked, pressing him to go on. part of her hoped that he would say he told her to 'fuck off' in some colorful fashion but sam was too nice. she imagined that it went something like, he showed up pissed but after a while of going back and forth he softened a bit because deep down he still cared for her. which was also bullshit in her eyes. tabby took a long sip of her drink for a moment when a throught crossed her mind. "was rad there? i'm gonna be really pissed if he was and she said something to him or in front of him." there were two kids that tabitha cared about, her nephew; rudy and rad whom she had met in new york a while back.

she just didn't get it, she really didn't. okay, she lied she understood that that was wrong but it was to keep him from panicking. "that's what he said but i didn't lie because i thought he'd get angry, i lied to keep him freaking out. he told me that dale made him insecure, he actually started working out because he was trying to impress me..." she exclaimed, shaking her head as she leaned back in her chair with a frown on her face. "since we've been together i've done nothing but try to show him that i'm comfortable with him, that if i wanted to be with dale..i would've." which was true but he had been so wrapped up in his insecurities to actually see that. did a part of her want to be with dale? yes, she wasn't going to deny that but in the end she chose hunter - now she was beginning to wonder if that was even a good idea. "i don't know, i haven't talked to him since the day of gwen's wedding...which i didn't go to." she shrugged. "we weren't even talking before that, it had got to a point where i was going to tell him to move out because all we did was fight about everything and i refuse to feel uncomfortable in my house."

tabby was thankful for chicago, it was a breath of fresh air and it got her away from the drama. with a deep sigh, she leaned forward resting her elbows on the table and proping her face up with her fists. when he apologized she shook her in disagreement, "no need to apologize, no one knows except for drea and hunter..maybe even rockie, who knows - that bitch knows everything" she spat. "..and as for looking tired, i've just been drinking again - it's nothing.". she offered him a shrug, as if the subject of her drinking was no big deal - that she had it under control. it probably wasn't the best idea to tell the director that she you had been drinking but he wasn't just a director to her, he was her father figure. "ah, young love..or in your case old love" she joked, scrunching up her face as he ruffled with her hair. "hey, i'm not a little person..granted i'm only 5'4 but still.." she grinned. the girl was really happy to know that sam and siana's relationship was going well, it was nice to finally see him happy and not stuck on delilah.

"I, uh, told her... Well, I tried to tell her to leave Siana alone. I don't know if it was effective." His eyes were on his cup instead of Tabitha's eyes. He hadn't realized how foolish he had been to think that softening up to her was actually the right way to defend Siana's honor. He felt awful. "It was in front of Rado," he nodded, feeling the anger well up in his chest all over again. Protecting that kid from any danger was one of his largest priorities. He didn't know what he would do if anything happened to Radoslav. With every day that passed, the man was realizing that the kid was becoming like a son to him. He planned on remaining in his life, regardless of the future, and he wanted to make sure that Radoslav never had to encounter a drunk and cruel-hearted Delilah again. "I don't know why she did it. Delilah actually loves kids," he explained, looking angry and confused at the same time. He hadn't spoken much of the incident at all.

Hearing all of the details about Tabitha's relationship with Hunter made Samson feel as if he had been out of her life for years. "Wow," he said, processing all that she was explaining. "I know you would have been with Dale if you wanted that," he nodded. He knew that Tabitha still had feelings for Dale, but she had chosen Hunter instead, so that was the choice that she was going to honor. She wouldn't cheat; it was against all that she believed in. "You guys are separating?" he asked her. Tabitha definitely needed a great deal of space in a relationship; she wasn't one to allow smothering. He couldn't imagine how it was for her to live in a house with someone who definitely loved her too much. "You guys fight about what? How insecure he is? Or is it something more?" Samson leaned back in his seat, moving his fingers a bit. He didn't get how a great relationship could turn so venomous so quickly. They had definitely moved quickly as a couple. They were also very young, and Tabitha wasn't exactly the easiest person to hold a relationship with. If anyone asked Samson, he would say that Adam was a great match for her. He still believed in that, but things were different now.

Regardless of the excuses Tabitha was making for Samson's ignorance about her personal life, he felt guilty for missing out on all of this. "No, I mean... If Rockie knew, I should have," he chuckled a bit, not commenting on what Tabitha had just called her. He definitely didn't think that of Rockie because he didn't necessarily know anything about the girl. "Drinking again, huh? Hope you're not drinking too much right now," he told her with a smile. He was actually being rather serious about that statement; he didn't want any shenanigans from her, but he trusted her to understand that the project was extremely important to him. "I'm here for you, you know," he said, reaching out and touching her hand on the table. "I think I'm more comforting than a bottle of booze, if I do say so myself," he said, laughing at the American terms that came out in his French accent. He removed his hand from hers and set it back in his lap. "Old love," he chuckled. It felt like new love and as passionate as young love. He was a lucky man. tabby shot him a dry look, even though he was looking at his drink instead of at her. of course he did, why on earth would he do it any other way. it just proved to her that she knew him better than she thought. "well if you tried to tell her..chances are they probably didn't work." she replied, swirling her straw around in her drink. maybe since she brought it up, sam would realize that even though he had a soft spot for people that he sometimes had to be firm with them. tough love as some people called it. "ugh, sam.." she mumbled as she rubbed at her temples. that's exactly what she didn't want to hear, delilah was not only a bitch to siana but a bitch to rad as well. that was not okay. for someone who apparently loved kids as much as samson had told her, she sure as shit didn't act like it. tabby poked at her sandwich as she tried to think of how she should handle this situation. I don't know why she did it. Delilah actually loves kids. with a smug expression, tabby looked up at sam before speaking. "it's obvious why she did it, she wants you back and she was trying to scare siana off by being the the biggest bitch on the planet." she responded, not caring that she just called the woman a bitch. respect was something earned and because of what delilah pulled, she lost what little respect she had from tabitha.

in a matter of weeks her weeks her relationship went from pure bliss to shit and she was still trying to piece together what had happened. she knew that it was her pride that kept her from being the bigger person and just saying "okay, i get it. i shouldn't have lied to you" and just apologize to him. tabby didn't want to do that, she was stubborn as hell and she wasn't going to appear vulnerable with anyone - not even hunter. when he asked if they were separating, she looked up and sighed deeply. "i don't know..probably." she admitted, biting down on her bottom lip. the thought had crossed her mind but she wasn't sure if she wanted to take it there or not. tabby never thought that she'd be going down this road, especially not this soon. "that or petty things that shouldn't have been that serious, leaving things out on the counter or clothes on the floor..the dogs.." she trailed off, rubbing her face with her hands as old memories started flooding back. which was why she took this movie role, she needed to get away from it all. so she shoved it from her thoughts and went on about her daily life, tabby went as far as to ignore his texts and calls. if people asked about him she simply smiled and said he was fine when in truth she didn't know.

"rockie makes things her business, it's not just with this situation - she does it with everything." she was never okay with that but she had learned to just accept that about the girl but as of late - it was seriously irking the hell out of her. especially when the other girl started talking about bradley. okay, so the guy wasn't exactly the best person but tabby didn't think rockie knew him enough to talk shit about him. especially when he had just gotten out of rehab and was attempting to better himself. "no i'm not, i got it under control.." she nodded, not really sure if she believed that. so far, it hadn't affected her work which was great. tabitha just wasn't sure how long her luck with that would last. should she try and quit while she was ahead or not? the girl gave him a huge, dimple showing smile as he took her hand and told him he was here for her. "i know you are and that was pretty good.." she laughed along with him. tabby hoped his relationship did last, she was sure it would last longer than hers did. "it will. you two are perfect for each other, it's crazy." she smiled, leaning back in her chair.

Instead of defending her honor, he had gone to his ex-wife's house and had softened up to Delilah's cold words. Letting that happen was just another sign of his weakness. He looked down, pursing his lips as if he were being lectured by a parent. Boy, was that ironic. "I don't think she wants me back," he replied simply, shaking his head. He looked up at Tabitha. "I know that classic villains have motives, but Delilah is different. Sometimes she enjoys seeing people squirm." He leaned over, trying to stifle a small chuckle. His eyes were filled with humor. "She has evil inside of her." He leaned back, closing his eyes for a moment. Maybe he wasn't completely kidding. It was true that Delilah was one of the most conniving people most people knew of. She usually had motives, but not every one of them were conspicuous. "I hate that Rado had to get involved. I bet she gave him nightmares," Samson said, that strange smile still lingering on his lips. He felt conflicted. He wanted Delilah to get out of Siana's life, but he didn't want her to walk out of his own.

It broke Samson's heart to watch any relationship fall apart. He felt his own heart clench at the sight of Tabitha's eyes when she remembered the whole situation with Hunter. He considered asking her to slow down and explain, but he knew that it was painful enough to discuss without speaking in explicit detail. "I think he's a nice boy," Samson nodded, trying to look at the bright side. "I mean, Tabitha, maybe it just wasn't in the cards for you two." He grinned at her with encouragement. "He's too nice, eh? I'm sure you need someone tougher. Someone who isn't so insecure." Samson was just being honest about it. He definitely felt for Hunter, but anyone who was taking such huge steps in a relationship with Tabitha should be able to see that she wasn't one to commit in a snap. She needed someone who was patient and less worrisome. Samson realized that he was looking at the situation as if they were already broken up. "If you want to reconcile, I suggest you do it quickly. If not, don't make this more painful for him than it needs to be." He nodded at her with an expectant look in his eyes. Stretching out a break-up was like slowly torturing someone to death while the quick and easy relief of a shot of a gun was at the torturer's fingertips.

Samson hated that Tabitha was addicted to alcohol. He remembered the days when he was addicted to cigarettes. Most people didn't see that type of behavior in Samson, but he had smoked a great deal after losing his soccer career. In fact, many obstacles came his way, and it had been so difficult to pull himself out. "If you ever lose control of the situation, then you know that you have help." the fact that he wasn't even looking at her told her that he knew he had fucked up. it was weird that she was the one doing the lecturing and he had to sit there and take it. tabby had found herself in his position countless times before not just by sam but by everyone. people often viewed tabby as this child who needed to be scolded for every little wrong thing that she did and it had gotten to a point where she would just ignore it all. her frowned deepened as he talked about how delilah wasn't the classic villain type. "ew." she said with a look of disgust. "sam that's just..how'd you even end up with someone like her." the two women were polar opposites so how in the world did sam even end up with her? she got it, maybe she wasn't a bitch all the time but she had to show her bad side at some point when they were together. "why're looking like that?" she asked with a quirk of her brow. "like, i know you two had a thing, you were married and all that stuff but.." she trailed off whilst shaking her head. "she's a you know what and needs to leave you guys alone." deciding that it was best to not call her bitch out loud, but it was pretty obvious that she wanted to.

tabitha simply shrugged her shoulders at what sam said, that wasn't what she was worried about. "i get that, i mean if it doesn't work out then it doesn't work out." she responded as she picked at the table absently. the girl couldn't help but scoff at his next statement, "you mean adam?" tabby knew how sam felt about her and adam's relationship but what could she do it about it - he wasn't here. last she had heard he was dealing with chemo and they sort of lost touch with each other, she still though about him everyday though. he had been her best friend for a long time before they dated so their relationship was a lot deeper than most. "i know, i'm just getting ready for the backlash..you know being called a whore and have everyone view me as the bad guy..again." she smiled. tabby could handle it, or at least she thought she could. "but thanks for thinking about him and his feelings.." she added smartly. that was something else she was going to deal with, people thinking that she did this on purpose and that she didn't care about his feelings.

what the fuck did they know. "i won't lose control..i haven't before and i won't." she remarked, then her face contorted into a grim look as she thought about what happened on set of orchid heights. "well..i won't let that happen again." even though it was an overdose and not alcohol poisoning it was the simple fact that tabitha had lost control. if it hadn't of been for parker then she'd be dead and that was an eerie thought. she snapped out of her thoughts when sam talked about how much siana liked her. "i like her too, she's great.." she said with a small smile. "she reminds me of my mom in some ways.." tabitha remembered the first time she met siana in new york, it took a wrong turn when all she could think about was her mom. tabby couldn't help but feel like she was doing the wrong thing by getting close to another woman. tabby could only imagine what it would be like if her real dad had actually moved on, the thought freaked her out and she was dreading the day that it came.

The guy had been through hell and back with that experience. He was happy with Siana, but what he went through with Delilah was never going to leave him be. Samson saw break-ups as lost opportunities. Each of them affected him. He hated seeing people on their own or in maladjusted conditions. Knowing that Tabitha and Hunter were about to make a real break-up happen was bothering him. He knew that it was unavoidable if Fate needed it to be so, but he wanted to see Tabitha in a long-lasting, successful relationship. "I didn't say anything about Adam," he said defiantly, looking away from her with a smile lingering on his lips. They both knew that Samson was supportive of what Tabitha had with Adam. Hollywood itself seemed to want them to be together. "Don't worry about what people think. They think what they think, regardless of the stimuli." That was the truth for Samson. He wanted Tabitha to be the Howard Roark of of her, a person who just didn't give a damn about who said what. "Break-ups are always sloppy," he shrugged. "And I think of his feelings as much as I think of yours," he lectured her. "The guy is a sweetheart. You and I both know that!" He grinned a bit at her, trying to lighten the topic.

The man was constantly worried about Tabitha's whereabouts. Since she was like a daughter to him, it wasn't hard for him to believe that she would change his entire life if anything were to happen to her. It was his personal responsibility to protect her, of course, and that was his plan. "Yeah, don't let that happen again," he replied, nearly scolding her before looking in another direction. Just the idea of that happening again made Samson feel like something heavy made its home in his belly. Whatever she was going through, she didn't want to speak of it in particular. It had to be more than a boy. He smiled up at her when she complimented Siana. He couldn't think of many better compliments than what Tabitha told him. "Your mom?" he grinned. tabby decided that she would just leave the whole delilah situation alone. it was obvious that samson had his own views of the woman and tabitha's were the complete opposite - she hated her. with their bold personalities tabby had already convinced herself that the two of them would never be friends. not that she cared anyway. the girl leaned in and took a long sip of her drink, her eyes following sam's face as he turned away with that smile on his. of course he didn't say anything about adam, but she knew that samson had been rather fond of her relationship with the boy. she had been too, he was her best friend after all and even after the all the drama that had occurred before they dated - they were still there for one another. "yeah but i know you and i know how you felt about the guy.." she smirked. "i get it, he's a great guy and i hope that where ever he is that he's okay.." she nodded, the last part she said mainly to herself.

she felt horrible that she hadn't kept in contact with him, that she didn't make sure that he was okay. it was just she had a hard time dealing with cancer and hospitals - they just were never her cup of tea ever since her mother had died. "so you're saying that even though i'm in a relationship with hunter..people still view me as a whore?" she countered, a small hint of smartass imbedded in her tone. it was almost as if no matter what she did, people would always find the wrong within it. she would never have a normal relationship or a normal social life for that matter. tabby couldn't help but nod at what he said, once again he was totally right. granted not all break ups were sloppy, there were those select few that ended on good terms - where the two people could still be friends after it was all said and done. she offered a small smile when he mentioned hunter's winning personality. it was true, the guy was a total sweetheart and it ached her heart to see herself hurting him in anyway - even if it was unintentional.

"i've just come to the conclusion...that i'm not meant for realtionships. i'll just stick to what i know, which is survivng off of intimacy." she exclaimed with a quiet laugh. it was no secret that tabitha got around when it came to sex, the girl had no shame in her game. she didn't think to highly of herself, the boasted compliments were only said because she felt that's what people wanted her to say. there were days where she wished that she could just push everyone away and be left on her own with her dog, but that would never be. tabby picked up the package paper that the straw came in, wrapping it around her finger tightly before releasing it and watching the thing turn into a loose, spiral curl. her eyes shot up as samson snapped at her, a small smirk tugging on her features. "i don't promise anything that i have no control over." she responded with a shrug. "but i'll do my best.." the girl hadn't faltered when it came to drugs and she hoped that she could keep it up. she chewed on her bottom lip, giving her father figure a few nods as he spoke. "yeah, she does and it's great 'cause.." she trailed off, getting lost in her own thoughts.

the only memories that she had instilled in her brain were the ones of her mother being ill. it was hard for her to get rid of them and the only way she knew how was to get herself drunk enough to the point the only thing she thought about was getting laid or going to sleep. "it's just great, i'm happy for you guys." she smiled. it was nice that she care for her, the feeling was definitely mutual and tabby would try and do anything for her and rad.

Samson had learned that break-ups were always easier when the person with the broken heart could just hate the heartbreaker for a period of time. Having someone like Delilah made it a bit easier in a way; she was untrustworthy and cold, two traits that made it easier to distance himself from her after the papers were signed. The problem was the memories that came with a nine-year marriage. As much as he was falling for Siana, he didn't know if he would ever be over what happened. He still feared that loss. He had no idea what he would do if he lost Siana on top of all of it. "No one said you weren't meant for relationships!" he laughed. "Humans lust for intimacy, Tabitha. They crave it because they go mad without it." It was the truth. He believed that people were wholes on their own, but finding a soulmate was a part of life. Even after a divorce, he believed in soulmates and true love. If Siana wasn't meant for him, he had no idea who was.

Samson was Tabitha's opposite when it came down to trusting people. He was open and prepared to love anyone who was there to be loved. Without a doubt, he wanted to open his arms to anyone who needed it, but Siana had connected with him in a way that was absolutely unforgettable. He had dated after Delilah, and he was always respectful to every woman in his midst. He simply didn't want to get married until he was absolutely certain that it wouldn't end the same way his first disaster of a marriage did. Nothing would hurt the man more than that. He never wanted to see anyone go through that, and he wished he could prevent Tabitha's heart from breaking. If he could, he would make the world a place where love was a two-way street. But that wasn't the case at all.

It might have been a premature thought, but Samson truly wanted Siana to become a maternal figure to Tabitha. He was aware that no one could replace the woman Tabitha's mother was, but he wanted Siana to be someone whom Tabitha trusted with her secrets. Siana didn't have a mean bone in her body. "Please don't get out of control, Tabitha," he begged her. "You must understand that you mean much more to the world than it can ignore. So many people care about you and would hate to see you fall," he said sincerely.

tabby brought the glass of tea to her mouth, swinging the cup around until and ice chip fell into her mouth. he eyes darted over towards samson as he spoke, saying what she had expected him to say - only..in a different way. "did you just say harlot?" she asked with her mouth full of ice. "harlot makes it sound so much better, i'm gonna start saying it." she added before she bit down on the ice, causing a crunch sound. her eyes scanned the shop absently as he continued with trying to make her feel better about herself. he had a point, it seemed as if no matter how hard she tried to tell people that she wasn't that great - it seemed to bring them closer to her. even when she tried her hardest to push them away, they always came back at her fifty times harder. all though it was annoying a majority of the time, it was nice to know that people did care a lot about her. "sure, whatever you say pops." she flashed him a grin before pulling another ice chip routine.

she wasn't surprised that he disagreed with her, he wanted her to be happy and in a successful relationship. she was just saying that maybe she was better off being single, fucking around when the time called for it - no strings attatched because she clearly couldn't handle the emotional part of a relationship. tabby was a closed off person by nature, she would be quick to keep her feelings inside instead of sharing them with her significant other. even with adam, it took him a while to get things out of her and he had been her best friend. "yes but we're talking about me!" she exclaimed as she pointed to herself. "you know me, you know i don't do well with feelings. i don't do...i just suck at all types of relationships." she stammered. the whole conversation about her past and the relationship with her dad not coming up because he knew it already and there was no point in saying it out loud. it was of course hanging in the air and it made her feel a bit uneasy.

"from now on, i'm just gonna stick to what i know.." she exhaled before taking a quick drink. "which is being a harlot." she added with a grin. tabby wasn't sure if he'd find it as funny as she did but she was trying to make the situation as light as she could while she degraded herself so badly. she placed one of her legs underneath her as she stared down at the table and thought about siana and sam's relationship. siana was really a terrific woman, she was a kind and gentle soul just like her mother was. while tabitha's father could be as loving as her mother was, he was mainly the strong and silent type. "the world? no." she remarked with a shake of her head. "a select few of people, yes. now i said i'd try my best didn't i?" she smirked. there were only a few people that she actually cared about, a select few that she trusted enough with if not all of her past, then at least a small part of it.

"hush" she drawled, a hint of her southern accent coming out. "you two look at each other the way my parents use to look at one another and believe me they were very much in love." she smiled. "but whatever you say, you know your heart better than i do.." she shrugged before smirking down at her cup.

He had no control over that and didn't want to. Samson's parents had never been overbearing. Most of the time, the two were almost a little too supportive. He wanted to stand behind Tabitha at all times. She had enough pressure from her serious brother without Samson there to tell her how to live her life. She had to have the space to make her own choices with boys and alcohol. Those were parts of being a young celebrity. He seemed to have lost her somewhere within the sentimentality of the matter, but he simply shrugged.

"You're not bad at emotional stuff, Tabitha," Samson countered with reason permeating his voice. "Okay," he reconsidered. A grin made its way across his lips. "Maybe you're not the best. But you are going to have to get used to that part." Samson was never the one to mess up the emotional part. He understood people and always wanted to help them. He was socially sound and happy with the way people viewed him. There were days when he despised the world, but that was never going to be his outlook toward the world for good. He had trouble, though, with understanding why physical appearances mattered so much. He valued heart over sex. He didn't have that young mentality and had never had the chance to. He didn't miss it and never wanted to know. He had married Delilah at a young age. That was his choice, one that he didn't regret at all. Dating afterward had been dull, which was why Tabitha didn't make any sense to him. Maybe she couldn't have a relationship with Hunter, but her next words perplexed the man.

"I, uh, don't think you should be a... harlot," Samson replied slowly. It was hard not to be bossy with Tabitha at this point. She was almost asking for a pedantic sex lecture or some AA meeting that Sam could throw at her. He felt responsible for making her see the worse side of the matter, the one that young people had a tendency to ignore when considering the benefits and cons of sleeping around and "being youthful." There were better ways to express oneself. "You don't need a man to make you happy," Samson brought forth. "I mean, honestly, Tabitha... Maybe you're better on your own right now? I do like Adam, but that doesn't mean I think you need to be with him right now." His tone was turning into a director's. "You just need to spend some time and clear your mind. Focus." He felt like an unheard director of Tabitha's life. He had many of the answers with his older age, but that wisdom could easily go to waste if Tabitha chose not to listen.

Samson relished in the fact that Tabitha looked up to Siana. It was one of his priorities to bring them together as close friends. Though the two didn't seem far in age, he felt like Siana's maturity level was like that of any parent's. What she was to Tabitha was more than what an older sister could be to her. He smiled softly at Tabitha as she reminisced about her parents' happy days. "I hope it can be love one day," he smiled back at her. "Don't act like it's puppy love," he added, narrowing his eyes at her impish grin.
