Siana sighed quietly as she was standing in front of the cooker in the kitchen of her small apartment. It was nothing big. Firstly, because she could not afford a huge house, and, secondly, because she actually did not need one. These four small attic rooms were enough for her and Radoslav. The size of the flat could be a problem if they wanted to have guests, because then somebody had to sleep on the couch or on the floor, because there was no space for a quest room, but it was not a problem since not many people entered this apartment. To be clearer, not many people had the privilege to do so, and it was all because of Siana’s sense of privacy. Her home was her stronghold. She was a kind hearted person and she wanted to help anybody if she could, but she was not keeping her doors open for every single person she knew.
A bunch of people deserved to enter this home, but they had not yet in many different reasons. This was the case with Tabitha Morning. She and Siana knew each other for six months or so. It may seem too short time, but the two got pretty close. They did not have the ability of seeing each other as often as they wanted to, but fortunately both of them were part of the shooting of Dog Days. The filming of that movie gave them the chance to spend much more time together – something that Siana was really grateful for. She had the chance to be there for Tabitha right at a period of her life when many people were against her – after breaking up with Hunter, Tabitha could not see much support in many of those around her. Siana was there, though. And she swore she would be there again, if Tabitha needed her, even if she to play the role of the great advisor or just the shoulder that Morning would need to cry on.
Siana was feeling extremely close to the young girl. She didn’t think whether she could replace her mother or not; this thought did not even pass through her mind. That was why as soon as she understood that Tabitha was going to be in New York Siana invited her to have a lunch at home. Radoslav was glad to help, though he got bored, while he was waiting for the cooker to finish its work. “Rado, come here!” Siana called her son over after the ring of the machine rang. The meal was ready. The boy ran into the kitchen, while his mother was taking a big chocolate cake out of the cooker. “Our cake is ready!” Radoslav started jumping around his mother with a huge smile upon his cute face. “Tabby will be happy!” The boy started singing a song which lyrics consisted of these four words, but Siana seemed proud of him.
She put the cake on in the middle of the small table in the living room. Rado, still singing his song about Tabitha, was following her. Just a moment later the doorbell rang. “It’s her,” Siana told her son. The boy squealed in excitement. He ran before his mother, when she started walking to open the door for their guest. “Shhh!” The boy put his finger in front of his mouth. He was hidden behind the door in order to scare Tabitha when she walked in. Siana chuckled quietly, agreed not to ruin his surprise. She opened the door, forgetting that the room was a huge mess – with Radoslav’s toys all around the floor and all over the couch. It was a mess. A charming mess, though.
