[atrb=border,0,true][atrb=style, background-color: dddddd; border: #cccccc solid 8px; width: 420px; padding: 15 5 15 5px;] MY HEART, MY LOVE, MY EVERYTHING The Words: 770 The Outfit: NEKKID The Notes tag: leo. ryan crashed against his chest, both of them slick with sweat, her lung gasping for air. as to be expected after leo's sudden proposal the pair had locked themselves away and hadn't really surfaced for air for over a day and a half. ryan couldn't help herself. she was happy and appreciative and the best way to show him such a thing was physically. it was one of the best ways she knew how that they could both really, really enjoy. her arm fumbled around to her neck, pulling soggy hair from her flesh and removing the tacky tickling sensation that was bothering her so as she waited for her body to resume a pattern of breathing that was a modicum more normal than this. still she couldn't help but to smile as she pulled her arms into his chest, crossing them as resting her chin where her hands met. the sight below her was a beautiful one. leo, drenched in sweat, his face hued red from the exertion. he certainly looked like a happy camper and ryan hoped so. she couldn't keep her hands off him from the moment they'd gotten home from the theater in the park night. in fact they'd barely made it into leo's apartment clothed. she had just been so overwhelmed with what she was feeling that she couldn't control it. she'd barely been able to put a lid on her happiness enough for them to get out of the public eye but now, in the safety of leo's modestly-sized apartment, ryan could squeal with joy if she wanted to. that desire of course had passed. ryan wasn't usually one for giddy little whims but she had never expected something like this to happen. she had never expected to even ever have a boyfriend and here she was, with leo, engaged. it was a big deal and a daunting one at that. she had of course said yes without a second thought but in having said so she'd opened up a lot of questions that had never before needed asking. like when would they do such a thing? what would it be like? how long would they wait? ryan didn't see much of a point in rushing off to the alter. engagement was a fun time where you were supposed to build up your relationship with another person to a different level, getting ready to live the rest of your lives together. of course that hardly ever happened anymore. weddings were aplenty in the industry but actually keeping a relationship alive? managing to not end things after the honeymoon phase was gone some three months after you'd said i do in a lavish ceremony? that was the main challenge. ryan knew that she could live the rest of her life with this one man so why run the risk of rushing things and making it all so much more difficult? planning always put a big strain on things. it was often a huge hassle that put a wedge between two people. ryan didn't want that. she wanted all the time in the world to make a decision on something and have the perfect plan in mind for what she wanted to do. she could only hope that leo felt the same as she looked down at him, watching him recuperate, probably wondering if she would want to go again soon. ryan had to admit that she'd been a bit insatiable. but what could she say? she was happy. that tended to put her in the mood faster than just about anything else. "so i have to ask," she began slowly, quietly, her voice a little sore from the screaming that had eventually taking over her throughout the past thirty-size some-odd hours. her voice was certainly raspy and slowed by her body's demand to continue to catch her breath. "you're not in a rush to finalize all of this are you?" she finished as she reached behind her and grabbed the knotted sheet somewhere around her bare bottom, tugging it over the two of them once more. "because i really don't want to just dive into planning and have it consume my whole life. this is something fun, something wonderful, and i'm thinking we should draw it out until there's nothing left to do but say 'i do'." she said honestly as her hand returned to it's previous position and she gauged his reaction to her words. "i've just seen too many people get lost in the ceremony and forget why they're actually there and i don't want that to happen with the two of us." |
