WEAKNESSES short-sighted she has trouble seeing the big picture. she thinks more in the moment than for the future, which makes her actions so spontaneous. she use to regret so much, but finally has learned to embrace this part of her and has decided to live without regrets. scared romantic she had a long-lasting relationship in college. she found out that her boyfriend was cheating on her, and then she dated a girl who cheated on her as well. she's fallen for many people, but she's been hurt so many times that she does not want to fall in love again so she steers clear of romantic relationships. if she's sleeping with a person though she'll probably develop feelings for them and then try and run away. drugs and alcohol the area that she grew up in drugs and alcohol were prominent. the most she does now is marijuana, she use to do cocaine but dropped that when she came to the states. alcohol is still a large problem for her, but mostly she drinks alone. quiet which could be mistaken for shy, but she's not. she's an observant person, so she does tend to be quieter as she is taking in her surroundings. she doesn't feel the need to fill silence with noise, so she doesn't ramble on and on like a lot of people do. she's brief enough to where she doesn't have to talk much. loner this is something that she has gotten use to, having nobody around. she grew up as an only child, with no cousins either. it was always just her and her mother and father. delanie doesn't push people away, she's just in her own world most of the time to where she doesn't realize that no one else is there. SKILLS Delanie writes poetry, music, stories, and scripts. She is talented on the piano and with the guitar. She also paints and draws. EXPERIENCE Having been creating stories and poems since a young age, Delanie followed her passion and went to the Sheffield Hallam University in the United Kingdom with her focus being creative writing. She also learned how to write scripts for plays, movies, and television. She also took poetry classes. After leaving college she attempted to work for television networks writing for television shows. She ended up re-working a lot of pilot scripts that never were turned into an on-air tv show. She did work on episodes of some of the UK's most popular shows, including "Sherlock" and some other sitcoms. She moved to Los Angeles in hopes of having a bigger career as a writer in the entertainment capital of the world. She hopes to write dramas, possibly for shows similar to "Game of Thrones" and "Mad Men". Those are high goals though. She'd take whatever she could get at this point though. As for work right now she is performing her music for small venues and festivals, and selling her artwork and poetry. She's a starving artist right now pretty much. |
