Everything she knew for certain that would never changed, had right before her eyes. It would be foolish to say that she'd expected it all. She'd been devastated by the acts of Donovan and her's subconscious. She blamed it on the alcohol, or at least tried to, but deep down she knew that it had been a problem the two of them had been carrying for long before it was out in the open. Truth was, it wasn't all his fault, he might have cared more about her in the beginning, but she had somewhere along the lines returned those feelings, without even knowing about it. Now that he was deep in those blond locks of Tiffany, the thought killed her, revenged was the only thing on her mind, she would break even, eventually. With the city pretty much down, she returned to the bar that it had all started, the ultimate spot of the land slide that caused the slender tom boy to collide with fate. Now, with everything said and done, the place gave her strength and courage. She'd send a text Gabriel's way. The guy was always one that could turn a head and had enough testosterone to cause even the most manly of men to feel inefficient, with the address sent his way, she walked to the bar, and ordered a tall, strong roman coke, drinking it quickly, her phone lite up with a text from Gabe, and a brave smile spread at her lips, truth was, she was going to war and he was about to be the general that was going to bring home a victory. She'd finished her drink and ordered another before she saw his dark handsome face at the doorway. Every girl in the place, looked at him with awe as he walked by, like he was a God and they were worshiping him. She couldn't help but feel excited knowing that he was here to see her, whether it was business or pleasure, it mattered not, it was a good healthy mix of both. She waved him over with a bright smile, that was only skin deep, she wasn't going to sit down and whine and cry about everything that had gone down. Gabe knew Donovan, all too well, and had he known the way that Donovan had felt about Drew, it was beyond her, she wasn't asking him to play doctor to put the two back together again. "Hey" she said taking another large gulp of her drink, "Thanks for coming." she said sweetly, lined with the worst intentions, any on looker could see this was a different, darker Drew and she was on a mission, she just hoped that Gabriel was ready for a bumpy ride, who could possibly turn down such a scheme? Not a schemer by nature, she felt her blood boiling hot, she was going to play dirty, but if that's what it took, she'd go down fighting. and there's no time to waste |
