Danny never thought what he did would upset her so as soon as he realized something was up, he didn't stop texting and calling. He was in Hawaii now and all he could do was keep trying. "Drea!" He stood from his chair in his room when she finally answered. "Please talk to me, tell me what's wrong. I'm really sorry you had to hear what you heard the way you did." Of course, he was too flustered to make sense, but that didn't matter. Danny hadn't really prepared a speech for her because he didn't think she'd actually pick up. "I hope this doesn't change anything" Obviously he was referring to their date in about a week. May be it wasn't wise to plan something so ahead of time. Who knows what could go wrong?

Danny cringed a little after the way she described it. What had he gone? He wasn't that kind of guy at all. She had every reason to be mad at him. In fact, he hated himself right now. Danny couldn't believe he was here asking for an apology when he didn't even forgive himself just yet. Her words that followed had him drop on his bed, his legs still hanging over the edge as he tried to find the right words for her. He had nothing. He deserved fucking up his chances with someone amazing like her. He didn't know how, but he did. And since he had never done anything like this to a girl before, it hurt him even more. He didn't even want to say sorry. He didn't deserve to be forgiven. Danny sighed.
