Both of her parents are charismatic, so that is where she gets it from. Although she is nice and friendly, there are some people who do not like her. She is a strong willed person, and she tends to keep secrets from people, so sometimes she does come off as fake. She also avoids confrontation, so she'll talk to someone she doesn't like with a smile on her face, which also just adds to people thinking she is fake. INDEPENDENT - Although Juliette has a strong bond with her parents, she moved to New York at the age of 18 to start a new chapter in her life. She didn't attend college like a lot of her peers, but instead she tried to make her way into the acting business. Her goal isn't to be famous though, it's just to do what she enjoys! She enjoys independent films more than main stream culture because she feels that some of the greatest movies of her generation have been indie made films. She does everything for herself. She lives alone, and even though she isn't rolling in money, she gets by living in a stingy apartment. Also she has a quirky sense of style, you can point her out in a crowd, that's for sure. BILINGUAL - Juliette speaks french, as per request of her grandmother on her mom's side. She grew up learning both the English and French language. Every summer Juliette travels to Paris and stays with her grandma. She has friends over seas and talks to them regularly and they come and stay with her in Los Angeles on occasion. Being bilingual she has found herself having more opportunity. Putting it on her resume has actually gotten her roles where she has spoken a limited amount of French. TOLERANT - She stays calm in ridiculous situations. Her families do not get along with each other. Her father and mother live together, but never married as a request of her families, because they do hate each other so much. Family gatherings were always the worst, but she learned how to keep her mouth shut and how to be patient. She has also realized that when you are tolerant of a person, if you get to know them long enough you'll find out why they are the way they are. DEDICATED - She is dedicated to her lifestyle as an actress, a daughter, and a vegetarian. Jules decided to become a vegetarian in high school. She had always been a lover of animals and decided to stop eating meat after looking thoroughly into the advantages of being a vegetarian. WEAKNESSES BOTTLED UP - When Juliette has a concern or a worry she doesn't express it. When she's mad, she keeps it inside, when she's sad she refuses to let it show. She doesn't like to seem vulnerable unless it is in acting, and when she finally cracks it's major and over the top. COMES OFF AS FAKE - Because she does bottle up her emotions and refuses to confront people, they do not find her to be genuine. She, however, is sincere to most people. If she doesn't like a person, she doesn't try to become their friend, she just refuses to fight with them or show her feelings towards them in public. IMMATURE - Although she is independent, she is immature. She likes things that children would like; such as Yo Gabba Gabba and stuff like that. Besides, she's a nerd, she plays video games and is interested in Superheroes and old movies and things like that. That doesn't make her immature, but her carefree attitude towards life does. She sort of naive, but not to the point where she's innocent. WALKED ON - Juliette, being tolerant, tends not to stand up for herself. She'll stand up for herself in the since that she'd rather not be exploited and also will tell you her stance on animal rights. But her back bone isn't as strong as it could be. She's more of a follower than a leader, in the sense that she'd rather let someone have power over her than tell them to fuck off. Usually she'll just avoid whatever is bothering her as well. HAPPINESS > MONEY - She refuses to do something just to benefit her financially. She would rather be homeless than do something degrading or that she doesn't enjoy just to get by. She would rather move back home than do something she totally hates. Sometimes she's paid the bills late, but she's gotten by so far with this philosophy and by sticking to her guns about it. Since 2010 she has been in three movies. Two alongside best friend Kate Peterson. Her first break through role was alongside a-listers Blake Bailey and in her second film she played the girlfriend of Jack Bailey, who eventually dies. Since then she has been working here and there in independent films and also as an extra on television shows by choice, not wanting lead roles or to blow up in fame and sell out. She sort of wants to be like Juliette Lewis. |
