With so many continuous changes in the course of his relationship with Jaiden Fisher, Danny realized that this moment was where things finally were able to slow down. Even as they were friends, nothing was stable because when she was busy, he wasn’t and when she wasn’t, he was. They were never able to spent time together until it was over the internet or through the phone. This summer, they were able to sooth things back to how they should be. Just him and Jaiden in their large and lovely home. The only difference now was that this time, they weren’t just friends. They were dating again. And even though it wasn’t the first time these two dated—they’ve been on and off ever since they were in college—it certainly felt like the first time to Danny because he remembered how he reacted when he realized she was leaving her boyfriend to be with Danny. It felt great. This time, she was also leaving some sort of a commitment and he felt great she’d choose him over her decision to never be with him again, because that’s what she’d been saying for a year or so now. How he managed to land her again, he’ll never know, but he wasn’t going to question it any longer.
”How stupid could you get? What does he think he’ll get out of it?” Even though he was chattering during the chick flick, he looked just as engaged in it as he was when him, Jaiden and Keani watched Avengers a couple months ago. He hadn’t seen this one before and he decided to give it a chance because Jaiden used it as a reference a couple times. One of his arms was around the top of the couch behind Jaiden while the other was grabbing for the popcorn in the bowl that was in between him and his girlfriend.
The most the story continue, the more engaged he got about what those adorable girls were up to, shaking his head in disappointment at some of the moments as if he were actually a teenage girl watching these. ”Oh good gawd.” He stared disgustingly at John Tucker in the red thong, unable to say anything else as he looked away and over at Jaiden. ”We’ve known each other how many years and you show me this movie now?” It wasn’t normal that he’d like something like this, but ever since he met Jaiden, he’d been watching more and more chick flicks. It’s just what happens when you’re with a girlfriend who watches them. He didn’t mind it. Clearly, he was enjoying it.
