He had hoped to meet Andrea, Alex had showed him a picture of her, and had mildly put the idea in his head that getting to know the beauty was a brilliant idea, and after chatting with her briefly, he couldn't find a reason to disagree. She was good looking, and to him it seemed, she was worth the chase, not that L.A. wasn't filled with beautiful women, with all the right curves and flawless skin. What had caught his attention was how flawless she'd appeared, though just by looking, he knew that it had been completely natural. Not that Tavin was picky, but he preferred his women to be natural beauties. It didn't take a million dollars to make an ugly girl, good looking. What seemed more amazing to Tavin was that the natural beauty seemed to have no idea how good looking she was. As sweet as apple pie. He gave her a little text, he'd gotten her number from Alex, who was more than willing to fork it up, "scratch the cheerios, meet me at the beat at Santa Monica, bring a swimming suit. Tavin." He laid out a blanket, and had a basket full of snacks, perfect for a picnic. He wasn't a romantic guy, he was barely only 19, but to him, his childish nature, screamed adventure. He sat shirtless, his white swimming trunks, detailed in purple and teal lines, creating small little squares. leaned back against the blanket, his sunglasses over sized for his small face, made him feel more fabulous. He beach was full of other people, men and women dressed in different designs of swimming suits. Men needing more fabric, while women needed less. There was not even a cloud in the sky, little tints were placed randomly along the beach side, with blankets and people crowded under them. Kids screaming from the water, while mothers yelled from the dry hot sand of mid-day heat, pointing fingers and screaming, no's and don'ts. He seaguls were flying around, waiting and mocking anyone who would carelessly leave food unattended. Most of his life he'd gotten exactly what he wanted, when he wanted it. Right down to the clothes he wore and the car that he drove. there was nothing that he couldn't have, and he loved it that way. He spent most of his life alone, while his father went from location to location for treatments. It was hard on the family, but Tavin would not, and could not be affected even by the most seriousness of the situation his father faced. It was very possible that his father would lose function of his whole body, while the shakes he had for years wasn't bad enough. Sometimes while he slept he could hear his mothers sobs. It was hard on everyone, but Tavin remained strong.
