School hadn’t started yet, so it seemed people were getting the last of their fun out with the break they had left and crowding themselves at the theme part. It was one of the reasons she was here too. She wanted to be a part of the hustle and bustle before work sucked the life out of her again. Thankfully, Malo wasn’t busy this weekend because she wouldn’t have wanted to come to Universal Studios without him. Then again, it was hard for Lissa to be away from him at all, so she never wanted to be anywhere without him. As cheerful and friendly a gal she was, her mood was just off without this man. It wasn’t healthy, but she didn’t care. Besides, she wasn’t the only one who had changed during the coarse of the relationship. They both knew Malo went through plenty of drastic changes as well. She would’ve wanted him to be himself any day, but it was nice that he put a hold on his alcohol intake and eased up on the crazy parties just because they weren’t his girlfriend’s scene. Lissa didn’t know how to thank him for it. Well, actually she did. It was one form of gratitude he wasn’t allowing and the one thing she actually wanted as well. It made her wonder if he agreed to go out just because they were in a public place. If that were the case, her boyfriend was pretty sneaky because she didn’t pick up on it until later. After taking pictures with Shrek, Donkey and Princess Fiona, Lissa headed towards the line for the big rollercoaster hand-in-hand. One hour and a half beyond this point said the sign as soon as they got in the line. This girl was bouncing off every corner, high off caffeine so one hour was nothing. They had a lot of catching up to do anyway, so the next thirty minutes were smoothly passed by her chattering on and on about work and making him tell her about his work as they finished up their snacks and drinks while they continued to move ahead. There was still another hour left in the line, but honestly, it would be worth it even though it was a bit of a pain waiting for so long. For a short moment of silence following her chat about her new friend Hayden who was nice enough to help her landing a job in LA, Lissa watched the group of guys who were almost just as pumped for the ride as Lissa was and then she turned to look behind him where an older couple stood, holding hands and occasionally kissing. Lissa turned back to Malo and smirked, resting her hands on the railing on either side of him. ”He’s not saying no to her” She whispered jokingly, obviously referring to the fact that Malo usually averted her attention when she demanded physical contact in public. She usually hated it and made her less of it happened as possible, but this was one of the things that were changing about her. She didn’t care where she was, she wanted to show off how close she was to her boyfriend. What she failed to realize is that he was right when he distracted her the way he did because if he allowed public display of affection, she would find herself demanding a lot more when they are alone together and apparently they weren’t ready for anything else just yet. At least they weren’t according to Malo. If you asked Lissa, her hormones kicking in more than usual would just admit she wanted in this man’s pants. mikey is a lady killer?! of caution 2.0 |
