It was her hangover ritual, to stumble into Starbucks and order her chai tea latte after a night of drinking. She was in typical 'morning after drinking' attire, sweats rolled up to right below her knee, with a loose fitting crop top, her hair pulled back into a messy bun, sitting at the top of her head. Waiting for her name to be called, she pulled her phone out, seeing how much damage she had done while intoxicated. It was her worst habit, drunk texting, or calling. She was notorious for calling up an ex and the next morning waking up next to them. She had been trying to work on it, but, it was honestly easier said than done. Luckily she had woken up in her own bed, alone that morning. Her phone held very little information of the night before, and it was hard for her to recall very many details that weren't clouded in her mind. Aalina shrugged it off as her name was called, pushing her small body off the chair as she went to collect her drink. "Thanks, love," She flirted with the barista behind the counter. He was cute, a boyish face, probably around seventeen. There was no way she was interested in him, but, she couldn't help herself. She was a flirt, whether intentionally or not. Taking a quick sip of her latte, she smiled as the warm liquid slid down her throat, instantly making her feel better. Aalina scanned the small coffee shop, as it started to pick up pace with people coming in for their daily fix. Deciding she'd fair better outside, she slipped through the side door to the patio, pushing her shades back over her eyes as she found an empty table. It was a warm morning, already in the low seventies, and it made her miss the cool summers of London. Taking another sip she tapped the screen of her phone a few times before holding the phone up to her ear, listening to the line ring. "Where you at? I'm at Starbucks," She announced into the phone, without giving much of a hello. Alex was her best friend, there was no need for hellos with her.[/style] [style=font-size: 10px; text-align: center;]TEMPLATE BY SAMARECARM OF OTE + BTN[/style] |
