Hi there! I've been gone long enough that only like two of you know me now so I figured I'd do one of these!
My name is Shelby and I'm 22 years old and a recent college graduate. I went to UGA and I got a degree in Psychology, and now I'm just trying to figure out what the holy hell I want to do with my life. In the mean time, I am a part-time manager at an Aéropostale, moderately priced clothing is my calling. And I'm HOPING to get this promotion to full-time at the end of the month so I can explore the world of retail management. I also am a freelance model, both for fun and sometimes for money.
I'm in a sorority, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Inc. It is an historically black Greek Letter Organization, but I'm Mexican and White. No, I do not think I am black. Yes, I do have a kind of kinship/fellowship with black people that I do not have with white people. But I love everyone, regardless of race. And that's not just some bullshit, that's just real. I choose to play a black character mainly because they are underrepresented in the RP world, or at least they were when I first made them. In fact, on one of our sites I had the FIRST black male character (it was Lil Wayne...Bahahaha).
I lloooooovvveeee music! I listen to a whole lot of everything, honestly. The Weeknd is one of my favorite artists of all time, and Coldplay, and 2 Chainz, and Juanes, and so on and so forth. I love 80s hair metal, hip hop, a little R&B, and Spanish music. I just love music. And I love movies. And I love TV. I love pop culture, basically. I'm a pop culture fiend. And I'm really good at Jeopardy!
I've been roleplaying for a good 12ish years. Maybe longer, I believe I started in 1998 or 1999, so maybe 13-14 years. Nobody that knows me in real life knows I RP except my girlfriend, and I just told her recently. She's a teacher, so she thinks it's the coolest thing ever and wants to use me as examples for her class and shit. Weirdo. Speaking of girlfriend, I'm not gay! I hate being asked that. I really really like boys, I just so happened to meet this one really awesome girl who I fell in love with. Awww how cuuuuuute! That's enough activism for the day.
