SITE-WIDE APRIL (MAY) EVENT

Hello members of TI! We've had two months of successful events and we aren't going to stop here! The activity has been awesome and we like to think our events help out in that respect. While the wanted character event is not over (you only have a short amount of time left, but there's still time to participate!), we wanted to give you guys plenty of time to think about this event before it actually begins! This event will run from APRIL 29 - JUNE 2. This event is going to be something different and something we haven't done before, so that's exciting!

Now this event will be broken up into FIVE PARTS each corresponding to a week of the month. You will have exactly seven days to participate in each of the five challenges and each challenge will ask for something different (that way everyone has a chance to do something they want!).

The basis for each challenge will be the same, you will be given a genre of movie/tv show and you will use the template found here to create a movie or show that is appropriate for the genre for the week. You will PM the filled template to this account. Each Sunday i will be posting a thread will all of the weeks submissions and you guys will get to vote on which you think is best! The one you guys all vote on will be posted immediately! The votes will be sent via PM to this account as well, but there'll be more on that when i post it! Let's get on to the list!

PART ONE (APRIL 29 - MAY 5) - MOVIES.

• This challenge will be the easiest and broadest of the five (an easy start is the best way, right?). For this all you need to do is fill out the template will your movie idea and send it to this account! This movie can be about absolutely anything! The only restriction on this challenge is NO TV SHOWS.
• The prize for this challenge is one of the following : (1) for your next character you can break the 1 male for every 2 females rule or (2) you can break the 20 post count rule for ONE CHARACTER ONLY.*

PART TWO (MAY 6 - MAY 12) - CONTROVERSY.

• This challenge will be a little bit more difficult. For this challenge we want you guys to create a TV show or Movie that would raise controversy. Some examples for this are Passion of the Christ, Brokeback Mountain, A Clockwork Orange, Last House on the Left, and Fahrenheit 9/11.
• The prize for this challenge is one of the following : (1) for your next character you can break the 1 male for every 2 females rule or (2) you can break the 20 post count rule for ONE CHARACTER ONLY.*

PART THREE (MAY 13- MAY 19) - COMEDY.

• This challenge is going to be a good one for everyone! All we want for this one is a comedy! It can be any kind of comedy: dark, childrens, adult, slapstick, anything! Some examples we have are O Brother, Where Art Thou, The Three Stooges, The Hangover, Juno, and Shrek (come on guys, we need some voice work!).
• The prize for this challenge is one of the following : (1) for your next character you can break the 1 male for every 2 females rule or (2) you can break the 20 post count rule for ONE CHARACTER ONLY.*

PART FOUR (MAY 20 - MAY 26) - MUSICALS.

• This week will be a fun one! TV shows and Movies are going to be allowed this week as well, and we want to see some variety from you guys! Remember this one would be good to use a cartoon for! Some examples i've thought of are Chigaco, Rent, Moulin Rouge, Grease, and Rocky Horror Picture Show!
• The prize for this challenge is one of the following : (1) for your next character you can break the 1 male for every 2 females rule or (2) you can break the 20 post count rule for ONE CHARACTER ONLY.*

PART FIVE (MAY 27 - JUNE 2) - ORIGINAL IDEAS.

• This challenge is the final and biggest of the month! We want you ALL to put in a movie or TV show for this one, as the prize is something we've never done before! This challenge is going to be pretty easy, though it could be interesting. For this part we challenge you all to create original movies and TV shows! This means the movie or TV show CANNOT be based on a preexisting TV show, movie, or book!
• The prize for this challenge is one of the following : (1) for your next character you can break the 1 male for every 2 females rule or (2) you can break the 20 post count rule for ONE CHARACTER ONLY.*Additionally, the winner of the challenge will be able to choose who gets put in their movie and who does not. All auditions will go through you!

Just some final things!

• All of the movies that are submitted that do not win will still get to be used! They will just go out at a later date!
• You may submit as many submissions as you want per challenge!
• When you make your submissions you can put your characters in the movie as you please! (Don't worry, it will be removed for the voting period!)
• This is all about having fun and being involved! Your participation is going to be the driving force of this contest!

*Example, say you have 3 characters and two of them have 20+ posts, but one does not, you may use this as a free pass for ONE CHARACTER ONE TIME to get 20. You cannot use this to get 20 on multiple characters! It doesn't have to be your next character, you can save it!
