Serena is a really sweet individual. When she was younger she got picked on a lot, so she knows what it is like to be in that position. It is something that she does not want for any other person. She wouldn’t wish pain upon anyone, so she tries to be the nicest person that she can be. She is very accepting of people and their life decisions. She is never the person to judge someone for something that they have decided to do. She knows better than to judge a book by its cover. This is shown by the wide range of friends that she has now and that she has always had. Stemming from her nice personality is her care for animals. She is not a vegetarian, but she is a volunteer at a few animal shelters and only takes dogs that are from a shelter so that they can have a home. She has a hard time working in those places because she knows that she cannot help every animal that is in there. Now, she’s not a crazy cat lady or anything, but she feels strongly about animal cruelty and is an advocate for their safety and protection.

Serena has one huge flaw. This flaw is that she is much too trusting. She’s a very intelligent girl. She always studied hard in school and she did quite well, maintaining a 3.5 average throughout high school and college, but that didn’t help her common sense. She had such a faith in the human race that she believed that every person deserved a chance with her and that they wouldn’t hurt her or disappoint her. It didn’t matter how many times this had failed, she always tried again with a new person. She always wanted to believe that people were naturally good, and not naturally bad like most seemed to think. She tends to give people many chances before giving up on them. She’s a strong believer that people change, and the people she thinks are going to change are the people that would never change. You could say she has pretty bag judgment. She wouldn’t admit this, though. She is someone who would much rather keep everything to herself rather than share her problems with the world. This was probably best though, she knows how annoyed people get when girls go on a rant about how shitty things are in their lives.

Serena was born into a family of five. She was the youngest by a great distance. The eldest of her siblings were the twins, Sarah and Johny, then came Cara, then Josh, and then Jeremy. She was the baby of the family and she loved it. She was born just outside of Wichita, Kansas, but when she was just three years old she picked up and moved to New York, New York. It was a move for her father’s job as a director. This was where he had always wanted to be and they could finally afford to move here and this was the place that he could finish his dream. Growing up in a big city was definitely something that affected her greatly. There was a large age gap between Josh and Jeremy. Josh and those older had grown up in a smaller town, while Jeremy and Serena were raised in a big city. There was a large difference in the way that they acted. She would not have wished it any different, though. She was quite happy with her life as a child, and went through her childhood rather pleasantly. The only thing that had happened was that she had lost a friend to a drive by, but she was five and didn’t really understand what was going on.

Middle school was something that was easily her biggest growing time. When Serena entered fifth grade, her first year of middle school, she was less than popular and didn’t have many friends. Her brothers and sisters used to pick on her. She had a chunky stage and she had to have braces and it was probably the most socially awkward time of her entire life. There was no saving her, she thought. That was until the summer before seventh grade. She lost a lot of weight, got her braces taken off, and finally started to develop into the mature woman that she is today. It was seventh grade that she started cheerleading and dancing. It has been almost every day since then that she practiced dance. She felt accepted when she became a cheerleader and it gave her a lot of confidence. Confidence that every girl needed.

She was one of the popular girls in high school. Even though she was one of those girls, she was not one of the stuck up ones. Sure, she had her moments where she wasn’t sweet as pie, but she always tried to be as nice and she could while remaining popular. It was in high school that she realized being the baby of the family had its disadvantages as well. Her brother was always on her about what he had heard about her. He was a grade ahead of her, but because of her popularity he had to hear all of the stories that went around about her. She wasn’t a slut, but she was no prude, either. She went to parties and drank and slept with a few people. High school was where she discovered that she was bisexual. It was never a big deal to her, just something that she had to deal with.

After graduating from high school she attended Julliard for dance and after graduating wanted to open her own dance studio. That fell through, though. She ended up just working for a dance studio in New York. It was at Julliard that she realized that she also enjoyed acting. It was never something that she loved more than dance, but it was something that she was definitely interested in. This is why she’s been trying to get into acting as well as choreographing dances for movies. That is where she makes the most of her money. She was a damn good teacher and people knew that, so they wanted her for movies. She would never be able to leave her babies at her dance studio, though. They mean much too much to her for her to ever leave them. She lives in a penthouse apartment (paid for by her father) with Rockie.
