While she did her best to act coy or to ignore certain feelings, she couldn't hide them. They were always front and center, as if it was written across her forehead. Lina was a girl that believed in romance and in her world, romance rarely existed. She had high hopes, but they were always crushed, leaving her to close herself off to love. It was the reason she ended up being friends with benefits more often than in a stable relationship. Love without feelings, though sometimes it just didn't work that way. "I fall too easily," It wasn't that, to be exact. She had been fooling around with Tavin for over a year and felt nothing for him. De'Sean was the only one she had found herself in that sort of situation with, and deep down she knew she shouldn't have felt that way. Knowing him the way she did, hearing his views on women and relationships, she was once again setting herself up for failure. She had finally admitted it, not out right, but in context that it was easily understandable. Maybe if she had just come right out and said it to begin with, there could have been progress between the two. She never expected anything to become of them, but, at least it would be out there. Lina was unsure of where they stood at that moment, knowing actions didn't always speak what was being thought. Who ever came up with that phrase lied. Before she could reply to him about his jealousy, her phone started to buzz, John Legend's smooth voice interrupting their intimate moment. Baby tonights the night, she couldn't help but giggle at the context. Breaking their embrace, she leaned over to silence the phone, turning the device off all together. "I don't normally do that," Aalina pointed out, returning to her position. She was liking this different side of Datty, it made him even more attractive than he already was. She took his hands from her hips, lacing her fingers with his as she kissed him once again. "I don't think you were trying, were you?" She finally replied, questioning him. Did anyone ever try to make it seem like they were jealous? Wasn't it just an involuntary action? Her lips were once again captivated by his, parting slightly to grant access to her mouth. She didn't want to ask where things were headed, just letting things take course. Aalina could care less about his measurements at that moment, though, and knew that unless he demanded them, they weren't going to be taken that night. Awkwardly fumbling with the hem of his shirt, she managed to pull it up to his collar bone without breaking their kiss. "You're over dressed," She whispered against his lips, being reminded that she was straddling him in just a sports bra and work out shorts. She wanted to level the playing field.
