Desmond does not have a large part in the Hollywood scene, he's hooked up with the business side of it all, so he is nothing like an arrogant cocky actor that's just looking for some fame and girls to spread their legs for him. No, Desmond takes after his father, who is also a business man. Both are serious but still have a sense of humor. He bases his behavior on which role he is playing; at work he's serious and brave and when he's not on the clock, he's sweet and romantic. He's quite mature when he's on business or with a lady.

He would prefer to not approach a woman at a club but have them approach him. The last thing he wants to seem is desperate, and when he goes out he's not usually looking for a lay. He's twenty-nine, and he knows that in sometime in his life he wants to start a family, so why would he still be going to the clubs and trying to hook up with chicks when he's looking for a lady who is wife material? He surely wouldn't find that at a club. When he does go out, it's usually business. He'll talk to a person, find out what they do and in LA, nine times out of ten they're in the entertainment industry, so he'll throw them his card and hope to hear from them the next day.

Over the years he has changed. When he was younger he lived the UCLA college life with his brother, and getting girls was a game. How many numbers could he get in one night, how many girls could he make out with, how many girls could he do body shots off of. He never graduated, but when he realized that he had to work for a living, the antics quickly stopped. So even if he seems sweet and innocent, he has never been that way, and even though he isn't into one night stands and is looking for some body to settle down with, he's not going to refuse sex or a night out that might only lead to that.

When he's down in the dumps, which is usually never, he's very somber, like he is every day. Even though he has a competitive job, he does a great job at keeping stress out of his life. He is a very laid back and relaxed person that gets a long with mostly every body. He's not hard to please and when some body asks him to do a job, he gets it done promptly and correctly. He tries to be a master of his craft. He puts others before himself, but he won't stress out about another person unless it's his twin brother. To keep himself relaxed he works out, eats well, and does what he wants to and tries to keep his schedule open so that he's not busy. Though his phone is always by his side as he waits for his next business call.

Desmond and Jude Vitale were born twins into a traditional Italian family. Being Italian they grew up around chaos and their fathers successful wine shipping company. They were a cohesive family that enjoyed the company of one another, which built strong values into their two boys. They are dinner together and had gatherings with their aunts, uncles, cousins, and grandparents quite often. Though they seemed like a perfect traditonal Italian family, there was also problems. Alonzo and Francesca had a flattering marriage, but they didn't dare leave each other and would rather attempt to work out their problems and keeps their indifferences covered up. It was the Italian thing to do. The Vitale family had always looked down upon divorce. It was more important to raise happy children in a loving household and scarifice their own happiness instead of burdening their children with the pain a faultty marriage could cause.

The twin brothers stuck close to one another throughout their younger years, although there were plenty of times they wished people would refer to them as 'Desmond' and 'Jude' seperately, instead of all them the twins. It was like they were having an indenity crisis in the fifth grade because they wanted to be their own person. Even in middle school they were the 'twins' or the 'Vitale boys'. Their mother had always done a good job at individualizing them. She never bought matching anything, because it had been quite obvious from the day they were born that they were different. It wasn't until high school that people began recognizing them as 'Jude' and 'Desmond'. They hit puberty and their voices and looks became distinct. They were men.

After high school they both attended the University of Miami where they grew up and their family lived so they could stay at home. Desmond majored in Business Administration. Three years into their education, they figured it would be beneficial if they bothed moved to Los Angeles since they knew that was where they were wanting to persue their careers after college. They transferred to UCLA to finish their education. After a couple more years of college and taking the required classes for their graduate programs, they found out that most of the credits at the University of Miami didn't transfer. Instead of making up those credits by taking the courses over again, they dropped out and moved into a shitty apartment that they could both afford.

Without a College Degree there weren't many jobs except in the food service industry available. Desmond was quite the business savvy little scout and met with a Talent Agency about giving him a job as a Talent Agent. He was good with people and would be willing to find his own clients. After him and his brother both found jobs that paid well in Los Angeles, they upgraded from their crappy apartment and into a house that they both share. Desmond hopes to open his own Talent Agency in the future, but he's done pretty well for himself so far.
