distinguishing features. There’s one thing you will always notice when you walk into a room that has Ella Fitzgerald in it, and that would be her height. Now, to be short is one thing, but to be tiny is a whole other situation. She’s five foot one, which means absolutely everyone she knows towers above her. And then you look at that face, and you see that every single thing about her screams ‘doll’. Wide, doe eyes, a porcelain complexion and an expression that almost always deems curiously adorable leave her the obvious “doll girl”.
play-by. Emmy Rossum.

quirks. Ella almost always has a book in hand, and if not she one to talk about. As for other quirks, she’s a tad bit chatty, curious, asking questions about almost anything she’s been reading or has learned about. She also has an odd habit of trying to find the most optimistic outlook on what’s going on around her.
aspirations. Get married, have a daughter who she can keep happy, to do the voice of a Disney Princess (don’t ask, it’s just too perfect).
secrets. Is aware of both of her parent’s locations, but chooses not to see them and pretend she doesn’t know where they are.
Ella isn’t half as dense socially as she lets on, she just chooses to be socially awkward around people because it’s what she likes to do.
personality evaluated. Looking at the way that Ella behaves, one would hardly believe that she’s involved with the entertainment industry. However, underneath the sweet little cupcake demeanor is an actress all the same. Ella immerses herself in whatever culture she can, choosing books and literature; fairy tales and stories over true socialization. She proves if anything indeed, socially awkward, due to her general awkward nature. Being small, she’s very good at hiding in a crowd and tends to do so in whatever way possible. She’s the little waif of a thing people are surprised to see walking by, always noted for her perfectly polite nature. She loves books, she loves learning, and while it may not seem like it at first, she’ll probably love you.
She’s a giving person who likes informing others of the things she’s doing, and asking questions. While she’s awkward, she’s social with those she’s close with. She adores having conversations with people she’s tight-knit with, and Ella enjoys listening. She appreciates intellectuals, or fascinating people, because she enjoys people who are equal to her in their ability to speak and listen.
However, she does have her flaws, including her ability to argue a point. She tends to know she’s right, and if you’re the sort of person who likes to prove you are, she will fight you. It’s a bit of a surprise to see the darling speak out for once, but she’s had enough in her life of taking what people say, and so she stands up for herself in those situations.

roleplay sample.Blue skies, and sunny days- it was too perfect of a day. And for a dreary mope of a woman, that meant only good things. The last while had been consumed with her hiding in her apartment, or hiding in her office at work, sewing, drafting- working at anything that could get her mind off of what had just happened. She didn’t want to think about it anymore, not after the reaction she’d had at the scene that day; the way she’d felt herself fall weak. She was lucky for Peter, who’d carried her to bed and sat with her until she’d fallen asleep, because without him who knew what sort of nonsense her ridiculous upset would’ve caused. She was never known for being a subtle being with her reactions to situations- everything was a multiplication of the norm. She was ecstatic, or distraught completely- the in between was extremely short lived, to the point that few really got to see it. But today would be pleasant, because she’d actually pulled herself out of her slump. She’d been given a new assignment, for the Worthy Auction- something she’d delighted in the ideas of, and so she had decided the Debbie Downer days were for another time. Not here, not now. Things were going to go too perfectly for anything like that. She’d started meeting up with individuals as they prepared for the event, meeting up with the auctionees and interviewed them. That way she’d make perfect outfits, which was just what had started. Today was a day for break though, as she’d called it a fabric shopping excursion. Luckily, everything she’d been searching for had been easy to find, and she’d been able to keep promises with Peter.
She wasn’t too sure why he’d asked for this meet up- he hadn’t given much information about it on the voice mail that he left her. She assumed he didn’t want to have to listen to her weepy voice if she’d actually answered, because he mentioned something about a park and good things. Well, that worked quite well for her! She’d even dressed in a more positive manner, setting aside the darker shades that had been consuming her since her arrival back to Casticova- enough of her reverse funeral age, and instead turned to a much more Violet approach to her clothing. Bright colours, leopard print, and just cozy enough to be comfortable, and flat shoes because it was a park. Now, moments like these were ones that Peter was all too familiar with- where Violet grew completely annoyed with her height. Time and time again the two had spent moments where she wasn’t wearing heels listening to Violet contemplate how someone so tall could enjoy the company of someone so little- especially when their meet ups in the park deemed for appropriate footwear that wasn’t composed of a four inch heel. This was definitely for the better though, her feet felt nice and relaxed, toes swimmingly happy in their nice cashmere soft socks. It meant for easy travel, which was what Violet needed at this very moment. While National Park wasn’t quite Central Park sized, it left much for exploring, and Peter had never really given much a destination for them to meet at. These winding pathways that were deemed ‘unending’ would have to be explored by Violet in time, so that she could find her company and have what would forever be known as a ‘wonderful time’.
However, knowing Peter also meant that it was easy to determine his thinking. He wouldn’t go far out to find somewhere to be- the first clearing he could find he’d claim for his own. And so Violet, using that intelligence that truly did exist, followed that thinking. It was only a ten minute or so walk before she found the beast of a Fox man, laying down in the grass in a lovely sort of clearing. He was even putting his jacket underneath his head- excuse me sir, this is no time for napping! Laughing to herself, she quietly made her way over, trying to make her feet as soundless as possible. Lush grass seems to hold sound, luckily, and so she was fairly able to keep that idea of silence as she moved. Another moment and she too was adjusting to lay on the grass next to him, shifting to try and steal some of his jacket for her own use. ”I’d strike you down, but I don’t know what I’d do it with, Peter.” she said, giving a small laugh as she moved to hug him, in what means were deemed possible by laying on the ground. ”Isn’t it a lovely day?” Now she truly had the chance to sit here and watch it all, she was truly amazed. Everything smelled so wonderful, and everything was so lush, and so bright. The perfect spring day, in her eyes!
